Hey everyone. You may have noticed from Friday to Monday that we were unable to post and share any content with you. This was because the site was being transferred to a brand new host (due to issues), which we are now live on. We do have a bit of sad news for some of you who loved the forum though. During the move, things got quite complicated and the decision was made by the manager of the site to remove the forum and stick with the blog. This has come as a shock to all of us as DenimBlog has been known for its denim loving community for over a decade, but unfortunately it’s out of our hands at the moment.
I’m hoping that we might be able to get the forum back at a later date, but in the meantime please do head to the DenimBlog Facebook Group. Hopefully you can still find your friends over there and swap emails to keep in touch. If any of you were in the middle of a mall transaction, hopefully you can continue this in the group. I know this is an inconvenience and if I had known this was going to happen, I would have personally made a notice on the blog and forum in advance to let you know, but unfortunately nobody knew. If you have any questions or issues, please leave a comment here and I will try to find out the answers for you. Thanks everyone! Lorna.
There are hundreds of thousands of fashion bloggers out there, way too many to stop and count, but are there any that are die hard denim addicts? Of course! I thought it would be a good idea to come up with my top 6 fashion bloggers who love denim (even though I’m a denim addict and a fashion blogger, I haven’t included myself to keep things neutral, but my love of denim goes without saying!) and share them with you.
Most of these are fashion bloggers I’m sure you might know since they are quite popular, however their denim collections and addiction to jeans can’t be bypassed. These ladies seem to own hundreds of jeans or denim pieces in their closets and that definitely deserves to be noticed! Check out my list below! Also, I’d love to hear some of your blogger recommendations. Shop similar denim outfits online at Shopbop.com.
DenimBlog just got some exciting news from G-Star! Pharrell Williams has become a co-owner of G-Star RAW. Did you see that one coming? The creative man himself is set to be immersed in the company on many creative levels and I cannot wait to see what designs and inventive ideas they come up with together. Who else is excited about this collaboration? You can read a bit more below and you can shop the current G-Star collection online at their website.
This partnership comes after two years of collaboration between G-Star and Pharrell’s company Bionic Yarn on the RAW for the Oceans collection, transforming recycled ocean plastic into denim. During this collaboration it became apparent that we have a rare connection when it comes to design, and with our shared pursuit for constant innovation the decision to take our partnership even further was a no-brainer.
“G-Star is an independently minded and forward thinking company. I believe they will be the definitive jeans brand of the 21st century. I am looking forward to be part of that mission and to co-create G-Star’s future.” Pharrell
Citizens of Humanity has kicked off the new year with a relaunch of their site. As you can see, the new site has a new fresh look that is clean and simple, but that is not the only thing that is new. There are also new features to help the online shopping experience.
One is the new addition of filtration that allows you to input multiple filters that will allow you to find exactly what you want quicker. Another new feature is the social media gallery. This new feature allows you to see how their pieces are styled throughout the social media world and get a better feel on how their jeans fit. The new site is great and very easy to navigate as I have checked it out myself. Click here to give the new site a look now.
