Denim shirts are as popular as normal button up shirts and can be worn in so many ways. I would personally say that the denim shirt is now on the same level as the denim jacket for popularity and I am so glad that it is. I own many denim shirts myself and find that there are so many different ways to wear them. You can opt for the double denim route with jeans or shorts, you can wear them over dresses in a boyfriend way or you can wear them tighter and tucked into skirts or of course with leggings.
Moto jeans have made quite the return this season in many new takes. Whether it be simply embellished with zippers from Anine Bing, or full on padded details at the knees from J Brand and Hudson, to the classic moto styles from James Jeans, they have all released their new takes on the season’s top trend. From denim to leather, here are all of our choices.
Denim has come a long way from its debut, from different washes and fits, to now, actual trends that progress with each season, just as a legitimate clothing line does. Denim has always been a casual favorite, but in recent years has really found its place in the fashion industry as a trendy, statement piece that is not just for a casual, day time activity. We love watching denim evolve and conform to the trends that emerge each season and love to highlight and discuss them as well. Here are some of our favorite Denim Trends of 2013, what are your favorites?
James Jeans has taken a new approach to colour blocking for their Fall 2013 collection. The contrasting shades and colours in the fall collection create an edgy, modern look and really re-invent the trend that was popular in Spring.
These have a monochrome feel to them as they come in shades of black, grey and white, and not the typical bright colours that we have been seeing. They also have knee detailing which reminds me a lot of moto pants, especially with the same shade that goes down to the calves as well. I think my favourite pairs are definitely the far left and far right, I like those the most. What do you think of these new styles from James Jeans? You can purchase these online at JamesJeans.com.
