Patchwork jeans seem to crop up here and there throughout random seasons over the years, but I have noticed a bit of an increase in their sightings and styles lately! We spotted Gwen Stefani back in June 2011, sporting a pair from RARE, then we saw Hilary Duff last year in a pair by Surface To Air and more recently we have been getting sightings of Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore and even Jennifer Lawrence rocking Current/Elliott’s Slouchy Stiletto in Old Glory Destroy.
The bleached/tie-dye denim look has made a resurgence this season. Brands like Textile Elizabeth and James, Barbara Bui, Joe’s Jeans and more have all come out with their own interpretation in various colors.
The great thing about this turn around on the trend is that it is not just limited to jeans. You can see that Textile has come out with their Western Shirt with bleached detailing that they are calling Cloudy. You can click inside to see all the styles from these along with others that are starting to pop up in stores right now.
Skinny jeans for men have come a long way since the trend kicked off over 5 years ago. Yes, it has been a staple for many for that long. The fit is not as generic as it was before. Now the styles come in a range of fits between straight to super slim and in an array of colors as well as prints now. I have put together some great fits and washes for you guys from the new 2013 collections. Click through to see our favorite choices for this season below.
The trend of leather mixed into a pair of jeans is becoming increasingly popular lately. With brands like Rag & Bone, J Brand and others kicking off the styles a few months ago, they are getting more hot by the day. Some of the jeans either come with leather panels on the front, leather stripes down the side, leather accents or even in block versions with a denim top half which changes into leather at mid thigh.
