For those of you that doubt your denim for vacation outfits, I’m here to change your mind. Yes denim can be a little heavier weight and better for those cooler months, but the light and airy denim pieces, such as Chambray, are perfect for your Summer fun. They’re light and breathable and will work with any other piece in your wardrobe.
When the weather is hot, everyone loves to opt for distressed denim, not only because it looks great, but because the rips and holes often allow air into the jeans and keep you cool. Distressed denim for Spring and Summer changes slightly every year in terms of what is trending, but there are a few famous styles at the moment and those are the Frame Le Color rip jeans and the Paige Jimmy Jimmy in Clifton Destructed, both have been quite popular so far! I’ve included 18 styles from all different brands here for you to buy. I’ve included skinnies, boyfriend jeans, slouchy skinnies, flares and higher rise styles, so there is something for everyone! Varying in colours from white and grey to light, mid and dark blue too! Which pair do you like?
Denim pencil skirts are on the rise and are going to be incredibly popular for Summer! We have already seen quite a few on celebrities like Ali Larter, Jamie Chung, Miranda Kerr and Jessica Alba and on a lot of bloggers as well! One of the most popular ways to wear them is with a lighter washed denim shirt tucked into a mid blue denim pencil skirt.
I used to wear denim skirts when I was a teenager and quickly outgrew them as they seem too young for me now, however I absolutely adore the invention of pencil skirts in denim. Pencil skirts are always so tailored and classy, so they are a great mature version to wear. I think Ali Larter looks amazing above!
I’ve included a lot of photos of celebs and bloggers sporting their own so you can get some style inspiration and I have also chosen 12 different denim pencil skirts which are available to buy! All ranging in lengths, colour, aesthetics and prints! I think the plain Current/Elliott one is my favourite! What do you think of the trend?
90′s trends have been popping up here and there for years, but they’ve really made their presence known the past couple of years. I love watching trends come back around because they’re always done with a little modern flare from the present time period and I’m loving the way everyone’s wearing their 90′s gear now. Here are my 3 favorite trends that came back this year.
