Designer Jeans reviews
This weeks denim review is on the Diesel Fayza Boyfriend jeans. I have two pairs, one which I purchased from the Diesel outlet in 0800U (light blue) and the other which I bought at TK Maxx in 0661G. I’m not doing a specific wash review here, just the fit of the jeans. I took size 27 in both of these, which is my regular Diesel size, and they fit me perfectly, perhaps a little too loose though sometimes. I have tried the Fayza cut in a size 26 as well and it fits me a lot slimmer, but still slouchy. In terms of sizing, if you want the looser slouchy fit like I’m wearing here, stick with your normal size, but if you prefer a slimmer boyfriend, I would size down.
This weeks denim review is on a pair of Genetic Denim Shya Skinny Jeans in Torch. I haven’t ever reviewed Genetic Denim before, but I do have a pair of their older jeans from about 3-4 years ago, and I did really like those. Back then, the brand was famous for having the DNA stitching up the side of the back pocket, but since then, they have toned it down quite a lot and it’s really minimal now, but still maintains the essence of the brand. I always thought Genetic Denim was so creative, I love the fact that they play on the words genes and jeans and actually have XX stitching on the front of the women’s jeans and XY on the guys, to symbolize the genetic make up of the male and female bodies. It’s really unique and so inventive, I just love brands with a story behind them!
My review this week is on a brand that’s still relatively new, Frame. After discovering them this past fall and receiving a pair, I can say that there is no better name to suit the brand. I have always been envious seeing other men able to find skinny jeans that fit them and after getting this pair I can say that I now have a style that fits me just like that. From the details to the fit, click inside see why these have joined my ‘Top 5’ pair of jeans.
