On September 6th, which we all know is Vogue’s Fashions Night Out, J Brand partnered with retailer Ron Herman to host their event with style blogger Karla Deras of “Karla’s Closet” and J Brand Men’s Designer Matthew Saam.
Ron Herman shoppers also got a first look at the exclusive J Brand Brix Power Stretch Cargo in Vintage Nightfall (in the gallery below), specially designed for Fashion’s Night Out. They also got to mingle with Karla, Matt and Fashion’s Night Out shoppers including Donovan Leitch. You can see a few of the photos in the gallery below.
The new Brix pant retails for $268 at Ron Herman on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. I think it’s a cute style, it’s so much like the Houlihan and Agnes combined! What do you think of it? Do you like the zippers? I’m unsure if I like that many, it looks a little off balance. I usually prefer three zippers at the hips, but I guess it makes it unique!

I have the official images from the Destination Denim event at Selfridges with Paige Denim and British Vogue editor Sarah Harris, as well as the official video for Selfridges. You can see in these images what the event was like and how easy going it was.
I was asked to hold up my favourite pair of Paige jeans that Selfridges stock which is of course the Leaf print, which I have loved since the press day earlier in the year. Since I was talking to Paige quite a bit, I have some how popped up in a few more of the photos in the gallery below. You can watch the video above from the day as well! Enjoy! You can also see the original post with my own photos here.

On Saturday I attended the Paige Denim event at Selfridges as part of their Destination Denim month. Paige Adams-Geller had created the scarf print skinny jeans exclusively for Selfridges and was there for the launch along with British Vogue editor, Sarah Harris. Both ladies were offering advice and help to customers who needed it while choosing a pair of Paige jeans. There were adorable little cupcakes with jeans on top of the frosting as well as mini bottles of Coke Cola being served.
Sarah wore the yellow version of the scarf print skinny jeans (which looked really good on her) while Paige wore a black and white floral print with hip zippers, which I am assuming are from her new line to come. It was great catching up with Paige and actually meeting Sarah in person instead of online. They are both lovely ladies. The event seemed like it was a great success and I’m eagerly awaiting the October press days so I can see what’s to come from Paige Denim. You can see the photos in the gallery below!

Last month, the third annual original Closed jeans event returned to Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California and was a huge success! Many stylists and stars dropped in to check out the current styles. See what they fell in love with and check out the gallery below!
Star stylist Brooke Dulien avidly shopped for jeans for Kristin Bell, Joy Bryant and Dex Shepard, the star cast of “Hit and Run” while Closed spokesperson, socialite and author Jessica Joffe, was there to lend a hand. She loves her grey leather jeans and the “Pedal Star” cut. Ira Hammons-Glass, costume designer for all Tom Cruise’s films and the Rolling Stones tours was also present as well as Tom’s son Connor Cruise. Connor shopped with enthusiasm for his upcoming European tour as a DJ. His favourite pair of jeans were the “Luke” in vibrant orange.
Actor Emma Stone fell hard for the “Starlet” in rosé and Mila Kunis chose to go more classic and loved the “Starlet” in grey paired with a blue-black silk blouse. Italian man about town and actor Nicoló Oddi entered Chateau and fell in love with the saffron-yellow “Clifton Slim” pants while Jennifer Missoni favoured her new “Marlow” jeans and refused to take them off.
