Yesterday, on Tuesday 13th August, Diesel hosted the Festival Number 6 event at the Manchester King Street Store. The event had a great turn out and looked like it was a lot of fun, so many people attended!
The night featured DJ sets from Horse Meat Disco and a live set from Dutch Uncles. The event has kicked-off the partnership and adds to the build up of Diesel’s collaboration with the festival taking place on the 13th-15th September 2013. Did any of you Manchester readers attend this event?
3×1 is a brand that is growing quite a bit in popularity since its launch. To coincide with their launch across the pond, they will be holding their first ever women’s customization event over the weekend (August 3-4) for customers to create their own jeans from start to finish. Donna Ida Thornton who is a patron for Jeans for Genes said: “We all have an old pair of jeans that have been living in the back of our wardrobes and you never wear. Now it’s time to clear out your wardrobe for a good cause. If you have jeans that are worn out, old, wrong colour or they don’t fit, bring them in and we’ll give you a voucher for a nice new pair. We’re donating all your old jeans from the Donna Ida Denim Drive to Jeans for Genes and Newlife so they will be recycled to fund equipment for disabled children.”
