Schultz jeans are a brand of denim that encorporate a belt within the jeans. It saves you from having to wear a belt all the time to keep your jeans up. You can read about their brand below. They are also currently working on their new women’s line.

Thanks to the revolutionary new Schultz strap*, there’s a whole new way of wearing jeans. If you like your jeans low-slung or even open at the fly, the Schultz strap keeps your jeans on and your hands free from constantly hitching them up. Designed to replace the traditional belt, the Schultz strap can be worn on the back or front of the jeans.
Two buttons on each side of the jeans on the rear waistband ‘cinch’ in the waist for a comfortable, belt-like snug fit. Worn at the front on the inside of the jeans, the Schultz strap gives sufficient support to even allow you to wear your Schultz jeans with the fly open, displaying your new designer Schultz underwear (and anything else you may feel like showing off!)

Gap has been upping their game when it comes to their premium denim collection. Recently, the brand launched their 1969 Premium denim collection, which features trendy premium denim, at a lower price point. Gap is now expanding this line, to kids.
The 1969 collection will expand to make styles in lightweight denim for 0-24 month olds. The line will keep focus on mobility, fabric quality, while still keeping in mind the trend factor.
The styles include, 5 pocket jeans, overalls, denim skirts and denim jackets. The price point, however, will range from $19.50-29.50.
The collection is now available online and will be available in stores. Gap plans to add pieces to the collection and expand it to Toddlers and Kids by fall.
Unfortunately one of Britain’s most successful and loved fashion designers, Alexander McQueen has been found dead after commiting suicide at his home in London this morning (11th February). He was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother passed away last week and it was a really hard time for him. This is such a tragic loss. His clothes were worn by so many people and he was so well respected in the fashion industry. Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan were the most recent celebs to have worn his clothes that we have blogged. I’m really upset. I wanted to make this post into a tribute post showcasing his collection that he showed at Mercedes Benze Fashion Week in Italy last month in January. He made marble coloured fabrics and balaclavas really big on the catwalk and I was excited to see what else he would bring out.
Alexander has also been named fashion designer of the year four times since 1996 and has been awarded a CBE. He succeeded John Galliano at Givenchy before becoming Creative Director at Gucci. His success as a designer continued in 2007 when he launched his own label.

HL Jeans Co sail in to Spring/Summer 2010 by taking the collection back to its nautical roots by focusing on the heritage that the Henri Lloyd brand has built its foundations on. Mixing design and technical detailing inspired from the main line collection, the design team have incorporated these styles to the already established fashion focused youth label to create a contemporary men’s wear brand.
The Spring/Summer outer wear collection delivers strong fashion focused styles with a seasonal colour palette ranging from bright reds to indigo, yellow and navy blue. The collection is then overlaid with key technical shapes and detailing borrowed from the brands naval history including enamelled buttons, welded pockets, nautical inspired block detailing and wax finishes. The Kenfield jacket follows the classic naval design structure with pod hood and reflective stitch embellishments.
The Naval theme taken on for Spring/Summer 10 runs throughout the entire collection, making the most impact on the T-shirt and Jersey ranges. HL Jeans Co has used a selection of naval inspired graphics and logos as shown in pieces such as the ‘true to the sea’ T-shirt as well as other sailing graphics. The collection once again pulls on the Henri Lloyd heritage as it includes the use of the Smithfold branding, which represents where the brand began and features on several pieces of jersey wear.
The S/S10 collection has also introduced the new HL Jeans logo on some key pieces, the new logo lends the collection a more branded look which ties it in with the existing Henri Lloyd ranges.
The HL Jeans Co S/S10 denim selection offers a variety of styles to allow consumers to buy into the jean line ranges from the more skinny fit right through to the straight leg style. The overall design of the denim offering has moved towards more stylised pieces using bright indigos, block white and greys as well as the more traditional stone washes and the blue rinse.
