American Eagle’s Artist Jean Is Back
We blogged about this jean before and now it’s here and ready to buy!
Back by popular demand, American Eagle’s best selling denim in the brand’s history, the Artist Jean returns to AE stores this summer featuring body-enhancing updates. The modernized design is all about a flattering fit with an improved back seat lift. With subtle changes in the pocket size and positioning to the yoke of the jean, the Artist Jean now does wonders to create the perky backside we’d otherwise need weeks of lunges to achieve.
As if that’s not incentive enough, AE is celebrating the return of the Artist by offering a free graphic t-shirt to every customer who purchases a pair of jeans. The free graphic t-shirt is offered in girl’s sizes XS through XL and guy’s sizes XS through XXL.
The slim-fitting boot cut Artist Jean is offered in five washes with varying degrees of destruction. Four of the washes include stretch and one is rigid. Available from $39.50 – $49.50 at www.ae.com and American Eagle stores worldwide.

Gap launches pop up store and new premium line!
Lucky for those in LA! GAP just opened a pop up boutique on Robertson Blvd. They will be showcasing their “1969″ collection, which will feature their new premium denim line.
The name goes back to the year that the brand was founded in San Fransisco.The line will feature trendy styles, like skinny jeans and looser fits for the guys. There will be distressing, buttons and details, but the fits will remain the same, only washes and details will change with trends.
For those not in LA, the brand will officially debute this collection on August 13. It will feature Gap’s great fit and of course, their great prices, as they will start at $59.50.

ShopBop and Madewell team up
Shopbop has teamed up with J Crew’s sister store, Madewell, to bring a unique collection of jeans which is featured only on the Shopbop website. Highlights include shredded denim pants and rompers. They have that vintage and worn in feel, which is reminiscent of Current/Elliott, however a much friendlier price point. Check out a couple of the looks below:
