Soulland have collaborated with Lee on a denim jacket and a pair of jeans which will both be available exclusively in Good Hood & Colette now. Launching exclusively in the UK with The Good Hood store, cult denim brand Lee collaborates with Danish contemporary label Soulland, dropping a limited edition collection of polka dot patchwork jeans and denim jacket.
With Scandanavia as the go to destination for denim, the duo make for the perfect partnership, noted as its strongest market, following the UK and with London being the worldwide hotbed for style, Lee look to the city for a particular focus this season. In suitable timing, Soulland also warm up to London with their highly anticipated debut at London Collections: Men this January.
The perfect pairing offers both a rich history of expertise with a 125 years of Lee, and an innovative fresh take on menswear with Soulland, who continue to raise eyebrows and set the bar high. Saturday 10th January saw the brands take over the entire shop window of The Good Hood Store in Shoreditch, to unveil the collaboration on rotating mannequins with a green screen backdrop; an imitation of the brands LC:M presentation, which kicked off simultaneously over the other side of London.
Lee’s UK Manager, Damien Ladwa, comments “It is great to work with Soulland on this project. We have seen many collaborations over the past few years, but we have rarely, if ever, seen the magic of what will come between a jewelry designer and denim…until now with Jacquie Aiche and MOTHER Denim joining forces. After prepping for the shows in Paris, the Aiche felt a void in her customer’s (“The Tribe”) closets and the idea of the collaboration came into fruition.
Instead of going the expected route of what might of come from a jewelry designer and a denim brand, they went for something that feels organic and classic with a vintage feel by getting inspired by Aiche’s recently launched exotic skin jacket collection. All made-to-order, you can choose between Eye of Thor, Pyramid, and Sweet Leaf in exotic skins like snake and deer as the main detail. Longtime collaborators, Nike and Liberty of London, have added something new to the mix, denim. For their Summer 2014 collection, Nike had expressed interest in incorporating denim into the line, and Liberty chose vintage inspired designs from their archives, with prints dating from the 1930s to the 1970s, and reprinted them on denim. The fabrics were then used on Dunk Sky Hi, Blazer, Internationalist, and Air Max styles. The shoes are finished with dark blue and burlap style trim and rope laces. The collection launched online and in-stores April 7th and prices start at 105.00.

Paige Denim has collaborated with Luxury Dog & Cat Outfitters, Mungo & Maud, to create a seriously stylish collection forÔÇª dogs. The London based brand has teamed up with the US denim label to produce Paige for Mungo & Maud. The collection of beds and bones are available in three signature Paige Denim prints that you usually find on the lining of Paige jeans: Sundial, Rose and Stripe. These can be found at Mungo & Maud online and at their retail stores in Belgravia, Notting Hill and Harrods. The collection will also be available at Paige Denim stores in the US.

I adore their luxury accessories due to their quality, attention to detail and charm. So when Nicola reached out to me about the collaboration, I couldn’t resist!
