Celebrity Pictures in Designer Jeans
Actress/Model Denise Richards was spotted out shopping at the Grove in LA. The beautiful lady is wearing a pair of True Religion jeans. I was thinking her outfit is cute, it looks casual and the bag and shades tidy up the look but what is with the shoes? They just ruin the whole outfit in my opinion. Time to invest in some new shoes Denise! Other than that shes rocking the TRs!

I don’t know where I’ve been on this one, but I just found out Vanessa Hudgens is partnered with Ecko Red, which explains why she was caught by the paparazzi on set of the new commercial she is filming for the brand. Perhaps I didn’t know of her connection with Ecko since she’s been the Diesel jeans and J Brand jeans postergirl lately! I’ve never seen her in Ecko besides in these shots.
Is Ecko Red or Marc Ecko hot where you live? I’ll admit that I’ve never paid much attention to either until a Marc Ecko store popped up in my local mall. Both lines are a little too flashy and ghetto fabulous for my taste – what do you think? Here’s Vanessa in her Ecko Red denim shorts and denim top, with shoes and socks that totally don’t match the outfit. Hmm…
Oh Katie – ever trying to be the denim diva! Katie Holmes stepped out in Manhattan on December 28th in a pair of cuffed denim shorts by See Thru Soul and stirrup tights with heels.
Katie helped bring back the boyfriend jean – will this tights with denim shorts look be the next trend in denim? Lily Allen recently sported a similar look, pairing a pair of denim shorts with fishnets. Would you dare?

CelebTV has YouTube’d its Denim Darlings of 2008. I had to laugh when the “reporter” called Katie Holmes’ baggy jeans “PRBS”…duh…they are PRPS lady, do your research! Also they show Rachel Bilson and call her jeans a collaboration with DKNY but in truth, Rachie wore AG jeans to her DKNY premiere, not her own line.
What other denim trends were huge in 2008? And what will have staying power into 2009? I think they missed the whole “destroyed” look which started in late 2008, but I think we’ll see more of in 2009…
