Celebs in Denim: Audrina Patridge in Divine Rights of Denim
Audrina Patridge was spotted again this week in Divine Rights of Denim. The paps snapped her out getting some coffee while wearing Divine Rights of Denim dark skinny jeans – only $68! Divine Rights is certainly getting their money’s worth by using Audrina as their spokesmodel, as she’s constantly seen wearing them. That’s more than we can say for many other spokesmodel celebs…

Celebs in Denim: Audrina Patridge in Divine Rights of Denim Shorts
Audrina Patridge was spotted out shopping recently in a pair of Divine Rights of Denim shorts, which are, as far as we can tell, unreleased in stores yet unless she cut them herself! For now, you can find Divine Rights of Denim at Arden B. or at Dillard’s. I like that this girl wears the brand she’s representing!
CLOSED Denim – “The Original Product”

So it’s been seen on just about everyone from our girls Katie and SJP to Drew Barrymore and even Penelope Cruz too. Closed Denim, founded in Italy and originally created for Postal workers in Germany, might be the next big indie line out there with most every staple jean style you’d care to wear, as well some fun and unexpected items too.
What really sets Closed apart however, is not just its vintage framework or its feel-good working class origins. At least, that’s not what did it for me. While all of that marketing genuis is more than fantastic (and you all know how I love a great ad campaign to get a company on a roll!), what I appreciate even more is actual and genuine design autonomy, exquisite fabrics and true attention to detail. And, lucky for Closed, they’ve nailed it on all accounts in my book.
Calling themselves a “total look” of “sophisticated casualwear”…”a constant dialogue between functionality and innovation,” the Closed brand not only offers denim for women and men, but also some adorable childrens wear, and shoes and accessories too.
Here are some of my favorite denim looks:
So, if you are still not a fan, I encourage you to go and check out the rest of their 2009 Collection at Closed.com, because this is certainly not all they’ve got. Their range of washes, their color palette and their fabric choices are kind of unreal…I mean, start thinking Jil Sander lights (Creative Director for Closed is currently former Jil Sander Designer Sophie Lewis btw…) to DVF brights…dresses, belts, chinos, gladiator sandals, even silk tops…Whatever your passion, they’re doing it nicely over there…
Also, be sure check out our fave Yoox.com for some great buys from the 2008 collection too!
