Kanye West was caught leaving Bar Pitti Resturant in New York. He wore a pair of army green Balmain Homme motorcycle jeans. It’s been a while since we have spotted motorcycle jeans. I still think they are a great style, being that they were probably the only new styles introduced in recent years.

At first I thought these were a pair from the women’s line, going by the ankle-zipper, but noticed that the fly folds over to the left so they are from the men’s line. It’s cool to see that many brands are starting to introduce ankle-zippers into men’s styles now. I have always thought they add some more versatility to jeans. You never know when you need a slit.

Kanye West was caught at the Wall St. Protest in New York City earlier this week with Russell Simmons. He wore his Balmain jeans with a white tee and plaid shirt by Givenchy. We haven’t seen him in these in a while. He seemed to be favoring his amazing light washed pairs by Levi’s for a bit.

I would like to see Kanye rock his leather pants again. We haven’t seen him in those for a while either. I thought he wore them really well. I think you can wear any trend by just mixing in some basics and keeping the palette muted. A guy wearing leather pants is already a bold statement, so simple is probably the biggest key note.

Here is one of the videos to correspond with the highly anticipated Balmain diffusion line, Pierre Balmain. It holds the Balmain punk feel with all the zippers, tight fits, and slouchy tops. I think this collection will do well. I can’t wait to see the still pictures of the pieces. The first Balmain collection under new designer Olivier Rousteing walked in Paris during the Spring 2012 season. The Matador inspired collection featured looks that were nothing less flashy than the inspiration itself. There was embroidery everywhere, tons of gold and even the return of denim to the line.

Something that Balmain never gets wrong is tailoring. Everything is just always cut so sharp and clean. That is what makes this fashion house so lust-worthy. Kanye West recently performed at the 2011 Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas earlier this month. Being Kanye, his stage outfit definitely stood out. He wore a red leather jacket with some red Balmain jeans and some red sneakers. Most likely the whole look is Balmain minus the shoes.

Russell Brand didn’t seem too happy to see the paparazzi as he was on his way to a meeting in Los Angeles, California a few days ago. His body language looks like he’s telling them to go away.

Russell was wearing his Balmain Homme skinny jeans again with a vest/waistcoat and skinny scarf. I’m usually not a fan of his rougher style but I quite like this look, I just think he should have worn some different shoes and that would have tied it together nicely.

Russell Brand was caught making his way into his hotel in London. He wore a new pair of Balmain Homme jeans when he was caught. Russell seems to be really fond of Balmain jeans. He has been spotted in a couple of pairs now. I would still like to know how they feel. They look like they are on the stiffer side, if I have to admit.

I still lust over some of the pairs and these are one of them. When I saw them in the men’s collection a couple of seasons back, my heart just dropped. One thing though that I did not notice from the collection pictures is that these have ankle zippers. I think it makes them all the more better. Jennifer Lopez was caught on the set of her new music video “Papi” in Los Angeles, California. She wore a pair of Balmain Zip Leather Trousers. I love these! I do think that they need to be just a tad bit tighter, just a tad, but they still look amazing. It was love at first sight when I saw them on Daria Werbowy during the show. I love the trouser cut, the leather, and the zippers! Balmain modernized the trouser in such a new cool way. I would love to have these but the price tag on them will only make that be a dream.

I want to see Kate Moss in these. I’m surprised that we haven’t seen her wear them right after they walked the runway. I wouldn’t doubt she has them and that she just hasn’t worn them yet. I think they are so her style and would like to see what she would pair them with.

Kate Moss was caught on vacation/The Kills tour in St. Tropez with daughter Lila Grace. She was wearing a pair of side lace Balmain leather shorts from a few seasons ago. It seems a little hot to be wearing a pair of leather shorts during the summer, especially in St. Tropez.

Charlize Theron was spotted after having lunch in Hollywood, California early last month. I wonder what took
so long for Charlize to get caught in some Balmain? She was wearing a pair of the cropped black motorcycle jeans from the Spring 2011 collection. I like that she kept the vibe of the Spring 2011 show in her look here. The studded Louboutin flats are just amazing. Those are just some really amazing shoes.

I cannot wait for the new lower priced Balmain line to be available. I’m sure that it will have some amazing jeans. I just hope that it is actually affordable in the sense that it is like Current/Elliott and J Brand. But I’m sure that the brand will still sell out quickly like the higher-end one.
