I'm having trouble knowing what fit the Diesel Iakop actually is. (088Z if that makes any difference)
On the first link, it says 'slim jeans'. The second link says they are 'tapered jeans' and on Diesel's own website it's like they aren't even sure! At the top, it says they are 'tapered' yet in the details it says 'straight leg cut'. Soooo confusing, here are the links:

The best thing you can do is to go to a Store which has the cut Iakop and try them on.
Iakop is basically the same as Poiak. They're essentially a slim (moderately slim, not super skinny like a Thanaz, closer to a Safado, but still a little less slim than that) almost straight leg with a slight taper to them.
To be honest, I think it's not a horrible fit, but it's definitely not one of Diesel's better ones. If you want a slim straight leg, I'd go with Safado long before that. If you want slim tapered, Thanaz is better. If you're into that more minimally tapered look, I would go for Poiak or Iakop over Darron though. The Darron is probably the most similar, but it's looser and looks way too baggy on top. Definitely a no-go fit as far as I'm concerned.

^ I don't think Thanaz is slim tapered, Thanaz is skinny straight cut.
No, Thanaz is skinny tapered. It's not a straight leg.

http://www.denimblog.com/c/forum/thread/90971/diesel-jeans-cut-master-list and also try to put your thanaz flat and check the legs, does they really taper? My pairs don't.
poiak or darron 8C0 maybe other possbility could be poiak 8D5.. would need more pics to tell for sure
Or Darron 8sv
No its not 8SV or 8C0. It most certainly is 8D5
eta: The distressing on the right thigh gives it away.(triangle shape of the distressing)
What are these??? They are labeled at Nordstrom.com as Zathan 8B2, but I already own that pair and they look way different.
Its wierd. It looks like a cross of 71s and 8b2. IDK for sure. Do you think maybe these are new this season with different pockets? Im confused myself
Hello what are these please ? they mentioned that they are Viker ?
Are they any Viker with blank back pockets ? Thanks
What website are you buying from? Do you know they are legit? You have to watch out for sites using stock photos.
Anyways about the jeans. They look legit but I don't know that exact wash. It looks a hell of a lot like 74K but I dont think that Diesel has made that in Viker(atleast not in the US). If you know the site is legit then go ahead but if you are unsure post it and ill let you know. If it doesnt end up being legit then you could go for the Thanaz 74K and get the same detailing. http://us.asos.com/Diesel-Diesel-Thanaz-74K-Slim-Jeans/vtqd4/?iid=1467896&r=1&mk=B1&mporgp=L0RpZXNlbC9EaWVzZWwtVGhhbmF6LTc0Sy1TbGltLUplYW5zL1Byb2Qv
Hi it's from a French Outlet site http://www.showroomprive.com. I suppose that they're legit and they have a 30 day return and refund policy. it's strange that they don't mention exact wash !!
Well I am at a loss. I suppose they must be a wash unreleased in the US. Maybe some of my friends here will have more insight into this pair.
I don't understand diesel anymore, where do these jeans come from...... the same with safado 8x2 and larkee 8x8
The pictures look 100% legit in my eyes, I don't think anyone can make a fake wash excactly like that
edit
I took a look at the website... they have 8x2, 8nj, 8y0 and even 880w in that same cut, but it's called krooley. But all of them (both the ones called krooley and viker) are the same cut.
It could be that diesel makes all of the washes first on this cut for testing and stuff before releasing them on other cuts and getting them to the stores... only 32/32 is available.
I sent an email to the site customer service asking about the actual wash (like it's mentioned on the tags) and where they're made. I'm waiting for their reply. I think that they can't put those on sale if they were released for testing purpose ! wait and see ...
Well its true that the sample pairs would be a 32x32 so that could be it but then I dont think that a company would be able to sell them as a full retail pair as this one is doing.
They are selling it for 35 euro!
yeah ! really strange
