I paid for fuschia crowns and I paid quite a lot thinking they are flawless.....not the case! The crowns are off center and there is a big run down the right leg!

This is what I have sent her

I received my jeans today but I'm afraid I am not happy. The jeans have a big run in the right leg that will soon become a hole and the crowns are off center. If I new I was buying irregular jeans I would not have offered the money that I did. In fact I could have bought these from century 21 myself for between 99 and 129 US Dollars.
So how do we resolve this? I do not think I have got the jeans I paid for and they are not the same as in the pictures you provided. I'm sure this is a genuine mistake as I see you are selling lots of items, it must be hard to keep track. Perhaps a full refund and I am happy to pay for return postage. I will still leave good feedback for this. How does that sound. Please let me know soon.

Sounds great - you couldn't ask for more as a seller. You're cordial, reasonable, and really have the power in this situation. I think you handled it beautifully

I would also provide pictures, to add support to the issue. They might have forgotten which pair of jeans it was.

yes they were banned on AF b/c they tried to sign on w/ a diff sn to promote themselves and were spamming members

You were very articulate in your email, and I think that they should agree to your terms. You were very reasonable, and generous, especially when you offered to pay the return shipping-UK to the US is quite pricy, no?

Good luck with getting this fixed! I agree with the above, pics would definitely back it up.

I have sent pics to confirm and this is what I got back. Should I do it or should I file a complaint with paypal first? What is the best way of making sure this seller actually sticks to her word and sends me a refund. This also means I have to send insured which costs more. If I filed with paypal would I have to pay return postage?

I WOULD REFUND YOU THE MONEY AFTER I RECEIVE THE ITEM FROM YOU NOT BEFORE. I HAVE TO MAKE SURE I HAVE POSSETION OF THE ITEM, I DO NOT WANNA HAVE PROBLEMS JUST RETURN THE ITEM AND I WILL REFUND THE MONEY TO YOU AFTER THE ITEM ARRIVES BACK IN NEW YORK. THANK YOU

make sure you send with delivery confirmation incase they dont refund and you have to file a claim. You will not get return shipping just auction price plus origianl shipping

If I was the seller I would not refund until I got the item back, however, I would offer to pay for the return shipping. I once sold some kids clothes and made a mistake on the size. The pants were smaller than the rest of the things. The buyer contacted me and I offered to take the items back and give her a full refund plus shipping cost or to exchange it if she was interested in any other outfit. At the end she never sent it back so I guess it was a smart move not to refund without having the item back.

Because you offer to pay for shipping in your email you can't ask him now to pay for it but at least tell him that he should cover the difference of sending it insured. Is there anything else he has that you might want? I would ask him to give you free shipping on other item as well.

as a seller i never refund until i receive my item back as well. also if you file a dispute paypal will never give you a refund until you show them that you've sent the item back

Wow thanks. I just looked at mine and they ahve the same problems!! I sent him a message just now but I've already left him feedback so I don't know what he's going to say. I had read that he was ok to buy from on here, thats why I bought off of ebay cause I normally don't. So he's actually banned from here???

OMG! He just sent me a nasty response saying I've had them for a week and trying to scam him. (I've only had them three days). So then I replyed that I could not have possibly changed the position of the crowns and that I would be contacting ebay. WHAT A JERK!!!!!!

Ok, I am going to ask him to cover the cost of shipping is insured. I'll keep you informed.
