breaking out!

ugh! i never break out, but since tuesday the right side of my face has exploded... only the right side. there's a bunch of really painful whiteheads, you know, the ones that if you squeeze splatter on the mirror (sorry for being so graphic) and every day it seems to be getting worse! anyways, the whole side of my face looks gross, and i've been using benzoyl peroxide and salyclic acid products but nothing is really working. i also have very sensitive skin (i know a lot of people *say* they have sensitive skin and they don't but i really do) so does anyone have any suggestions of what i could do to clear this up quickly? i'm not wearing any makeup (although i probably should, it's pretty nasty) and i haven't changed anything in my daily routine...

ANY help is appreciated!

Do you talk on the phone a lot? Maybe give that a wipe with some cleanser or anti-bacterial wash.

try acne getaway 101e lotion. ive been using it for about 6 days and already they are clearing up its all natrual aswell with no side effects. look it up on ebay

1) make an appointment with a dermatologist (they prescribed me a wash that has worked like no other drug store brand)
2) if you sleep on your stomach (I do) change your pillowcase every other day
3) don't wash too much, it will only make things worse and when you do, dont use anything too harsh
4) pimples are made up of bacteria.. heat kills bacteria. Use heat compresses on your pimples as soon as they start appearing (I use hot tap water on a wash cloth repeatedly.. if your tap water isn't hot enough, you can heat a wet towel in the microwave but be careful you don't burn yoru face!) They will shrink in size (and painfulness almost immediately). This is also the science behind the Zeno product.

I've done number 4 before with incredible results. Every once in awhile I get one on the corner of my nose or near the tip and the hot towel method really works wonder.

Believe it or not, your pillow can be the root of all evil breakouts! If you have oily skin or use a lot of hair products such as hairspray, gel etc and sleep in it night after night, it builds up on your pillow, and even if you change your sheets regularly, a week without washing them can promote the break out.

Try flipping and rotating pillow sides, or if you're busy, just change your pillow cases every couple days after you've run outta sides as supposed to changing your whole bedding. It could be the one side of your face because thats your side choice when sleeping. Hope that helps a bit hun...

i second this advice. i picked up a few pairs of pillowcases cheap at target and i switch them every couple of days.
