I've never been a huge fan, but I saw a couple of bags today for good deals. They were definitely the style/fabric I'm looking for, but I just couldn't decide if D&B is just over and done with...??? Any opinions? Thanks!!!

I have a few D&B bags. Personally, I do not like the signature, fabric bags, but I love the leather ones. I have one that I consistently get a ton of compliments on

^^^ i agree, i think the leather ones are nice... never was a fan of the signature logo bags... some of them just look really childish.

i don't own any D&B though, but that doesn't mean i won't consider purchasing them. if i see something i like, i buy it!

I have 4 D&B's. One is a hard Itailian type satchel and the rest are signature print. I don't like the signature pattern nearly as much as coach print but bought them because the design of the purse (nice size, lots of pockets) and they were really great prices. I don't feel all that "high end" when carrying them but actually have gotten lots of compliments so some people must like them

i'm not into logos so i'll never buy a d&b. their leather stuff seems old-ladyish to me.

I don't think I could ever get into D&B because I think their leather bags are old-ladyish too and their logo stuff (monogram and hearts) are too childish.

Yeah, I've never really been a fan, but the one I was looking at was cheap, pretty nice, and pretty subtle for D&B. Pretty close to the style of the pic 1, but in the colors of pic 2...

I have one of their leather planners, it's quite nice My mom has 2 of their handbags, leather also really nice. I think the brand has sort of been "cheapened" by the D&B pastel-logo stuff...I dunno if that's important to you Lisa

I've never really liked it... But if you like it, get it.

I'm not a fan. I hate the signature with a passion or the one covered in hearts. I think the plainer looking ones are OK though.

Yeah, I don't really love it...I think I was leaning toward it because it's a good deal and I've got a Nordstrom GC burning a hole in my wallet!! I'll wait and find something I love!

Not a fan of D&B either.

They were much more popular around 2000-2001. I have a signature purse and I don't really like it anymore. I found that a lot of their stuff is for teenagers 13-16.

i've only seen one so far that i like. i think it was an aligator/leather type? an old co-worker of mine had it and used it as a briefcase.

lol - I see a lot of the younger girls at the mall carrying them.

I like their anniversary collection (first picture). I'm not a fan of their leather bags though. I carry DB as everyday type bags, if I'm going somewhere besides the norm I switch to coach or gucci.

I don't think I'd ever carry a D&B bags. NOt to be mean but when those colorful signature bags came out all I saw carrying them were really trashy girls or 13 year olds. Since then I jsut don't have a nice idea of D&B in my mind. There have been one or two nice looking bags that I've seen, I just wouldn't buy it myself.

Weren't they sued by LV for their color logo?
