I don't think I have ever been so upset over a freaking pair of jeans in all my life. I have been watching a pair of Justine jeans and had my sniper set for 50.00. Well my sniper did not snipe and the jeans ended at 5.50!!! I swear I am about in tears. It said that Ebay did not accept my bid until after the auction was over. FREAK!! I had it set at 5 seconds. OMG.

Aww ~ that stinks What sniper program were you using?
that sucks. But that's why I don't snipe unless I have to. I manually do it

OMG, I can't believe that, and for that price. What a shame, damn, damn, damn!!! I know I'm adding to your frustration, but dayummmmm. I'm sorry. I'm sure something better will come along soon and for a great price too. cheer up.

I used auctionsniper.com
This is the first time I have ever had any trouble and what a time to have trouble. I literally feel sick to my stomach. If they would have went for just 30.00 , I still would have felt bad but not as bad. I think I am going to the fridge to console myself with a bag of m&m's

My God, I'd be pissed too! I like esnipe so much better than auctionsniper, but that's just my opinion.

I cut and copied the reason. I guess it was my fault. I should not have had it set at 5 seconds. That is what I have always had it set at. I guess I should have bumped it up a few seconds

Not in Time We sent your snipe to eBay at your requested time, however eBay did not accept your bid until after the auction ended. This occurred because you set your lead time well below our recommended 7 seconds, or excessive internet traffic prevented your bid from going through in time. This problem is nearly always caused by eBay and is beyond our control, but we do all we can to lessen the chance of this happening. In fact we monitor eBay's response times and compensate automatically. So rest assured that we are doing all we can and are giving you the highest chance of winning because of our automatic adjustments to compensate for eBay's current speed.

BOO!!!!!!! That totally sucks I'd be so choked...sorry, not helping I'm sure.

OMG that's soooo awful that your bid didn't go through. You know what though, I bet you since these jeans went for so low, the seller probably won't even sell them. They'll make up some bogus excuse to the buyer that they no longer have the jeans or something. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what ends up happening.
aww thats horrible, sorry to hear that, yeah auntionsniper has done it to me too, I wonder why?.....buu well mabye you'll see them again, I agree with virgo the seller may not even sell for 5.50
post #21 of 28

I hope you are right..unless of course an HF'er won My hubby seems to think that she will flake out of the sale as well. She had to have lost at least 60 bucks on that auction, even if she was able to get those on sale. Now is definitely not a good time to sell jeans on Ebay, but it sure is a good time to buy!
