that i grabbed the bare escentuals starter kit as an impulse-buy at sephora, and just tried it for the very first time -- I'M OBSESSED!!!!!!

I just got a sample of their loose powder from Sephora. I must say it's awesome that they're half price compared to Jane Iredale, another mineral cosmetic brand. I have yet to try the powder, but I'm hoping it's as good as everyone says.

Ah. I can't express enough how much I love mine.
Those who have it, what do you use for later in the day when you don't have it with you? Do you just you another compact?

that's the only thing i don't like about it.. tough to travel with and messy

^^ i was wondering the same as well. way too messy to be carried around. even on overnight trips i'm always so careful.. but it's no use. there's always a mess! haha anyway i was thinking about trying a NARS compact. any suggestions?

Studio fix is a powder foundation not a compact type finishing powder. It should be heavy. It is also one of my favorite foundation of all time because it covers just about everything.
