how to expand the calves of boots

ok, so I never THOUGHT i had fat calves till i started buying boots

i bought a very nice knee-high pair the other day, leather, and they fit lovely but they are definately snug in the calf. I want to be able to tuck jeans into them.

does anyone know how i can stretch/expand the calves at all?

i know i don't have fat calves either, but i find all my knee high boots fit pretty snug. not sure how people who do have bigger calves do it.

i'd take them to a shoe repair place. i know there's some sort of spray that can be used to stretch shoes/boots and i'm sure it can be done. just wouldn't try it at home on a nice pair of boots.

are they leather inside and out?

try "shoe stretch" by shoe gear..you spray it on the tight parts and then wear them and it will stretch out to conform to your body. It won't damage the shoes either, I used it on my leather Coach shoes and nothing happened and it's leather safe anyway

edit: forgot to add, you can get it at walmart (didn't see any at Target!)
