Blowdryer recommendations

I need a new blowdryer... mine sounds like an airplane. I would like one that is pretty quiet, reliable, and speedy. oh and I know there are some big spenders out there so I would prefer one less than $100 any recommendations?

I have one of those cheap ceramic ionic whatchamicallits. It's old and has been losing heat & power since 8 months ago.

Are these really better for your hair? Is Rusk a good brand? Or can you only buy them if you're professional?

i love the my rusk one ... it's an ionic whatever with alot of power ... not 100% sure how much ... it's back in a duffel somewhere .... i'll look for it eventually

it works like 1030949593 times better then my crappy conair one that i have ... drying time is cut in like 50 and my hair always comes out softer.

i like rusk ... i think you can only buy them if your a professional.

DannyCo products are awesome, I definitely recommend, it's what the Salons use around here. I have one...love it!

I ordered the one that my stylist used, and is supposed to last a lifetime. I do like it. My sister used it and REALLY liked it.

That said I kept looking at the T3. But I ended up reading somewhere on MUA that GoodHousekeeping rated the T3 against the Revlon Tourmaline Ionic 1875, and the revlon scored as well or better.

I did buy the Revlon and I do like it better for when I straighten my hair. It does dry faster and have less frizz.

I have the T3 and I love it! Blowdrys so fast and leaves hair feeling so shiny and soft.

I have the Conair Travel 1875. It's super quiet, I can talk on the phone while blow drying my hair. It was under $30 from Bed Bath and Beyond from 3.5 years ago.

Meanwhile the professional salon hair dryer my BF's mom gave me (she has her own shop) uses ALOT of electricity, the lights start to flicker or the dryer turns on and off.

I have a babyblis and I will tell you what, I have "long hair" middle of my back and it usually takes me less then 10 minutes to blow dry it complete. I LOVE my hair dryer! It is an Ionic Pro...

Holy crap, now there is a tesimony. Mine is shoulder length, but there is a lot of it. It's a good day when it only takes 8 mins for me, but the average is longer.

I've borrowed my mom's T3, the travel one, now that I'm visiting for the holidays and WOW, it's awesome. I hate blowdrying my hair because it takes too long and my hair never looks the way I want it anyway. Well I get no frizz, it's super quiet, and it dries my hair quickly. I'm considering buying one myself but I'm a student so I'm on the broke side.
