When I played junior hockey and lived away from home, I would go months without. So I am certainly capable of going a long time without..but I prefer not to. I am certainly not a slut, but I've always had a couple friends I can call if I am in need.

I don't know, i read online that 99% of people tend to masturbate at some level of their lives. So we have only 1% that don't even feel like doing it ever and never tried it. Still, everyone denies it and gets all gross about it when its mentioned in a society where talking about the smallest sexual details is not a big deal nowadays..

Okay well I have been about 9 months without sex since my husband and I split up, I've had offers of course, but turned them down. Now that its been so long and haven't seen anyone I crave physical cuddling more than sex.....kisses, holding hands, feeling guys BACKS hahaha....The last guy I just seen for one day as he stood me up after that (another thread) well he had probably the nicest body I have ever seen and I wasn't all that hot and bothered when I was kissing him for some reason, didn't like the way he kissed much I guess...So I need the emotions to feel physical too I guess, but I guess I am the old fashioned one here...

So my question is...if you meet someone you seem to really like how long would you WAIT to have sex with them??

Hillkay2 so how long do you make guys wait? For me it depends on how often I see him and how much I like him, but I made my husband wait 3 weeks, but we seen each other every day in those 3 weeks AND he told me he loved me before that.... So maybe we could sum them up in how many encounters before we give it? I would say it has to be in the 20's for me....so if I only see a guy on weekends I guess he'd have to wait a while....

I think 2 months is standard. It also depends on the number of dates. I guess waiting a while is a good thing and weeds out the guys just looking to bone.

Oooh, good question. Most people would say about a couple of weeks or months etc. But I for one would jump in bed within 24 hours after the first date. You can tell so much about a person in bed just by exploring their body gesture, comfort level, intimatcy, thoughts, experiences, attraction, personality, and emotions. Plus it takes away the tension between both partners and less time figuring out what both side is wants.

I've went a year w/o sex before by choice. There was a HIV outbreak at my college and they were offering free tests. People were standing in line for hours over 2 weeks. It opened my eyes about being promiscous(sp?) and how it just wasn't worth it. It took 2 months of dating my boyfriend before I even got a freaking kiss, by month 4 I was so frustrated that I raped his ass!!!!

Best for during is you on top and reach behind yourself or do reverse cowgirl where you are facing his feet. Actually, second option is probably best for the first time, because basically you are just reaching between your own legs. It isn't as hard as it sounds. Start out with the balls and then move down. Keep the nails trimmed and/or use your knuckle. Think of it like kneading a little ball of dough...no poking or jabbing, just nice, firm, consistant pressure.

You won't have to do the dishes for a week.

I can go for like 6 months or longer cause I am so busy with school etc. and I don't have time to think about wanting sex. I don't know about my bf but hes still sticking around so it can't bother him that much lol. I also took antidepressants for 3 year until I went off them this summer and it totally killed my sex drive and I still haven't gotten it back. This thread reminds me of high school conversations lol.
