yup, just sent her an email before replying on this thread. paypal didn't give me a reason why they completed the reversal other than they thought it was "appropriate". weird.. :/

i'm still trying to clear up the situation with paypal...
everything is so slow with the bank and the paypal people, just one big pain in the ass.

well, this morning I received an email from paypal and they said "funds temporary hold are available for use" (seller protection).

I still have not received my money back; plus, the post office says the jeans have not been delivered. I am hoping that the holidays have interfered with this process!

Does anyone have any advice for me?

I would think that by now paypal would have cleared up issues w/ stolen account?
Maybe Im wrong.. I've never had that happen to me.

^^Yes, to both questions. The USPS doesn't have a record of the jeans being delivered yet and it's been almost 2 weeks. When I last spoked with Sara, she said she had not received the jeans yet. This was about a week ago.

Still no word on this. Does anyone have any advice? The usps still has no signature delivery confirmation. Plus, my paypal balance is still negative. HELP!

Bumping this thread AGAIN! Sara pmed me and said she received the jeans. Normally, all I would have to do is contact paypal with the signature delivery confirmation info. and I could get my money. However, the USPS has no record online that the jeans were delivered. Some dumbass postman obviously didn't do his job.

Nevertheless, I am still out my my money. Any ideas? Sara has offered to send the jeans back.

i got my money back last night after complaining to paypal hellla times in the past 3 days because i had the proof! i think that's the only reason i received my money back... it's because i urged them to do another investigation and the idiots finally realized i didn't do anything wrong. i hope fosterzmom got hers back too.. this was one big headache! thanks goes out to kelly for her help too..

this was the email sent to me 2 days ago after I complained to paypal:

Dear Diana,

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We have completed our investigation regarding the following transaction
and have issued a refund. Please allow 5 business days for the funds to
appear in your PayPal account for the following transaction:

The reason I've not received my money back is because the USPS had no record of her receiving the jeans even though I purchased delivery confirmation. She said she sent the jeans back to me last Thursday, but I've yet to receive them in the mail.

^^ E, did you save the receipt from when you mailed the jeans? I'm guessing not, since you haven't mentioned it. I don't know if that holds any water during a paypal investigation or not, but I thought it may be worth a try! How did you pay to ship the jeans? Did you use your credit card? If so, could your cc company pull the record to show where the charge was made (at the p.o.) and for how much and on what date? That is so irritating that b/c the postal worker was too lazy to scan your dc, you are out of proof!

I have the receipt right here, but I used Paypal shipping so I didn't actually go to the post office; I mailed them from here. But sara pmed me and said she received the jeans. I asked her to go to her post office and have the package scanned so that there would be a record of her receiving the jeans, but I never heard anything back from her. Then I pmed her and asked her to send the jeans back to me. She said she did that last Thursday.

I am OVER this whole thing. Seriously.

I am equally pissed at USPS in all of this. I did purchase signature confirmation.

I have a question E. when you try to track the signature confirmation online (Usps) what it is the message? because I bought a signature confirmation today and I saw the clerk (friend of mine) put the label on my package but I am not remember if she scanned it.

No, I'm not. And the tracking no. she provided says "item not found." This has been going on FOREVER! Arghhhh!
