Wow, I didn't realize there would be so many replies. I wonder why it's so hard to get the straight truth regarding working at this place! I've asked at other forums and I get the same responses: comments on their customer service and i heard this, i heard that's. No one knows the fact. Not trying to sound bitchy, more just that I find it really interesting since it seems to only be Aritzia. I've asked about other companies and usually get a consistent story but from here, other forums, and offline friends everyone's telling me something different about this one company. Hmm.

What kind of work did you do for them when you worked during Christmas? Did you get paid the same amount as the sales girls AND get the same discounts?

This may be off topic but does anyone know if Aritzia has discounts on jeans on boxing day or the week after christmas?

for regular customers, their jeans are discounted. i got my havana2s for $127, and it's reg price is $255ish..

hmmm, how do you become a regular customer? Do they send you a coupon in the mail?

no no there wasn't a special deal or anything. when i mean regular customer, i mean just whomever walks in and buys their clothes. it was in the beginning of january when they're just getting rid of last season's merchandise. it was the last one they had, and luckily in my size.

if you want those special-mailed coupons that give you a heads-up/discount on certain days, you have to register your name under their customer profile and buy quite a bit from them on a regular basis. they do all that stuff for free. basically, they wanna see loyalty, clientele.

ya i work there.

discount is 40

$13/hr

All up side. Sure, caddy girls but you will get good ones and bad ones everywhere.

i work hard but enjoy the perks.

Not commission but hrly/sales quotos.

Downside: have to stay after closing until entire store is cleaned up and encouraged to clock out prior to the cleaning so we don't decrease our sales per hour totals. Hmmm, i'm not up for cleaning for free! Up to this point i opt to clock out when i'm d0one work. If they penalize me for this (my sales per hour would decrease given I'm cleaning up after store closing so i'm not selling) then i will

go from there. But really owners and management should be making provisions for cleaning/inventory etc.
