Maybe I missed something here, but even though you didn't get insurance, you can still TRACK it, right? To verify whether the seller received the item or not?

Yikes! I agree w/ Kelly and everyone else, I hope that the bags show up somewhere.

I've ship all my packages usps, sometimes they don't scan the package when its delivered. This has happend to me numbers of time. Soometimes they don't even get a signature for insurance over 100. It pisses me off sometimes when they don't do their job correctly.

I don't understand the whole paypal thing because I recently paid you, welovelouie, to your own paypal account. and also it took almost 2 weeks for the jeans to show up...

If you print a shipping lable through paypal and get delivery confirmation it will not be scanned until it reaches the destination. However if you buy it at the post office (one of the little green stickers) it will be tracked through the whole shipping ordeal. It will be scanned at every point it reaches.

A lady at the post office told me that many workers do not like people printing postage online and refuse to scan them. I dont know why some of them are such asses about it.

That's dumb. It's not like they're getting a commission from it.

That's odd. Mine is the opposite, if I buy at the post office, it never shows but if I buy online, it's in by the evening. Tha's why I prefer buying online labels.

OK, I would like to clear up some things since this is getting very confusing.

I sent payment on Monday Sept 25th for Phi's bags but she asked me to Paypal to Jenny's account.

I was told the bags would be sent out by Wednesday Sept 27th so I could get it by Sept 30th because I would be in SF on Sunday Oct 1.

On Sept 30th, Tammy informed me that she has still not received the bag so I PMed Phi who told me she sent out about 10:30am on Sept 30th.

A few more days later on Wednesday Oct 4th 1AM I asked what shipping method she used and she told me she she sent Priority.

I was advised to do a chargeback by a moderator if i had not received the bag at the end of this week.

As for the bag thing, I should have been more clear. I spoke to Tammy earlier this evening after my last post on here and I told her about what Phi had posted. I told her that she is saying that she did indeed send out on Saturday and I told her if this is true, then there will be a stam to prove it and if it's true, she should keep the bags because it was truly the post office's fault and I feel bad about it because I have had packages go missing before myself (granted it was over seas) and had packages take a bit longer than usual for some reason. However, if the package shows it WAS NOT sent out on Saturday, then I will be angry and so will Tammy because that would mean someone lied to us and in which case I truly believe she will reject the bags.

I thought we have already agreed with Money Order at the first place becuase the total is sooo much money. Furthermore, paying anyway, you're still putting down the same amount of money, I will just be the one that lose the most in this situation because of Paypal fee.

I need cash, i'm selling everything i have, not that i don't love them anymore, i do, i need immediate cash. I'm selling all the gift cards i have, all the cute shoes, and the bags as well. I can slit the shipping cost, $15 $15 both paties, that will leave you 1515 even by money order, and i will ship immediately once it arrives. Otherwise, 1515 plus 3% paypal fee if pay through paypal. Again, youre getting merely 50% off. Please consider

I'm sorry if there was some misunderstanding somewhere, but I did not ever agree to a Money Order transaction because my friend, Tam, is not willing to do anything using an unsafe payment method. I'm sorry but you mentioned before that this is a large sum transaction so she is not willing to take the risk, and honestly, even I would not do it. I will not risk anything over $750 (Even then I have to have a really good reason to trust the other person). And I do have to say, that although I trust that you have legit items for sale and have no mal-intent, the fact remains that you have no feedbacks on here or HonestForum or on Purse Forum. The Paypal situation is a deal breaker and I am sorry if you are under the impression that a Money Order was going to be used (I never said I would, I have all of our dialogue saved).

I did say that if you agreed to Paypal and $1500, then Tam would buy BOTH bags instead of just the Keepall for $700.

I do not mean to offend you at all, but I'm sure you would have a hard time with the idea of sending a $1500 check to basically a stranger and no way to ever get the money back if something were to happen or go wrong.

I have already vouched for your bags to my friend that they are authentic even though have not seen the date code or heat stamp. And she is taking my word that you are a legit seller, but when I tell her that you want a money order, she immediately said no and that she doesn't want it at all then.

So please, would you reconsider? Because I would hate to have gotten your hopes up with the notion that you sold 2 bags but only to have this deal fall through.

I live really close to Jenny so i've always been using her Paypal account and i just come over to get the money, Jenny and I are quite close. I had really bad paypal experience in the past.. i sold a Vuitton bag for 800 bucks and after 3 months, the buyer did credit card charge back... paypal only got back for me 70 dollars, which was totally unfair. Jenny has the premium account, she can recieve a large amount of payment. You can PM her if you want. That's the only way to pay through paypal if you want to.

I keep re-reading the posts because something seemed off. I sent payment on Mon Sept 25th and Phi says she dropped it off on Sept 27th so that would be Wednesday but she also says she waited 1 week to send because that is when payments clear, which would mean she sent out Oct 2nd (Oct 1st is a Sunday). But in her message to me on Sept 30th states that she sent out on Sept 30th morning around10:30AM.

Also, she or Jenny, can't remember which one, is saying she sent out from Pasadena. There is only one USPS post office according to yellow pages in Pasadena. I have been to the post office in Pasadena and they definitely take printed labels and scan there. I know Jenny lives in San Marino and my dad has a PO Box there so I sent out some packages there before too this summer and again, they have no problems with printed labels.

how come in a lot of auctions the seller says something like "shipping insurance optional, i am not responisible for what happens after i drop it off at post office, blah blah..." so do you just put that hoping they pay for the insurance, but if they don't you pay for it anyways? i heard that if they say they never received it and you have the deliv. conf. that says it was delivered, that you will win a dispute thru paypal/ebay...

please educate me!

It's the seller's responsibility to get the package to the buyer. So always get delivery confirmation so you have proof that it was delivered. If for some reason it does not get delivered, the seller should have bought insurance to cover this. Since the seller is responsible for it being delivered, he/she will have to pay if it is not delivered. So the seller would claim insurance from usps/ups and pay back the buyer.

Sellers that put that statement in their auctions probably just dont know this. They will not win a paypal dispute without proof of delivery. And the seller has to pay if it gets lost. They can make the buyer pay for insurance in the shipping cost, but it is not actually the buyers responsibility.

I don't see anything saying welovelouie guaranteed the package would get there by the weekend. She said you "should" receive it by the weekend.

if the buyer wants a guaranteed delivery date then they should opt to ship via USPS express mail. That is the only way to be sure it will arrive (USPS gives you the date it will be delivered when you ship) with in a short time frame. Priority mail might say 3 -5 days on the USPS website but I find many packages take a week or more to get there depending on location.

I agree. It can take up to 9 days actually..that is what I was told by USPS before. The 3-5 days is just an estimate. I've had priority mail take up a week or longer too.
