no.. i've been friends with Jenny and I can't open an account because someone in the past scammed my mom and there was a problem with her account.. I'm paranoid, I didn't wanna open another account under the same address

I've been using Jenny's account and i swear i shipped the package. Liz now filed the complaint and I'm stuck. Of course I'm refunding her 1500. I've been nothing but honest, why does these kinda things happen to me

I think filing a claim after one week is too soon.
And I think its wrong for the friend to change their mind after one week too.. That sounds like buyers remorse to me - Im sorry.

^I agree. Probably buyer's remorse (especially with the boyfriend's part in it), but I think the buyer does have an argument because, technically, the terms of the sale weren't met (timely shipping).

2 days is timely shipping. Paypal allows up to 7 days.

I know, but according to lizlikeshugs' original post, welovelouie had agreed to ship by Wednesday so the bags could reach her in time, but they were actually shipped out Sunday. I don't know how this would play into the PayPal claim, but it seems like it could be a reason to not want the item anymore (e.g., if the buyer wanted to use it for a particular event and the event has now passed).

not that i'm trying to save 10-15 dollars over the shipping.. but both bags value of 3000 dollars and I agreed to let go of them for 1500 for the buyer because I'm in need for some cash... but buyer only wanted to pay 1500... as for losing more than half of the retail, I didn't really want to lose more on paying for the insurance myself so i thought with delivery confirmation would be fine because we are so close

Is $1530 the absolute best you can do on both of these bags? I know these bags retailed at nearly $3000, but the thing is, you are most likely selling these bags because you no longer use them or hardly used them in the first place or because you now have another bag in mind you rather have. $1500 is still a great deal of money and you said so in the thread that everyone only wanted the Vanilla Speedy which already sold and not many, if at all, people showed interest in the 2 Epi Noir bags.

Basically what I'm saying, is if you can agree to $1500 flat and send me your Paypal info, I can have the money sent to you within the next minute of you responding.

I think it will be two weeks on Monday (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't see an actual date, just an implication of when payment occured) since Liz paid. I'm a really patient person if I'm waiting on a pair of jeans, but if I shelled out $1500, I would be antsy at this point too. However, I definitely agree about the friend. If the bag gets to Liz (or her friend?), I don't think there's really a legitimate reason for her to return it. Buyer's remorse is no excuse. Sometimes mail takes longer than it's supposed to, and you take that chance whether you purchase something from someone on Ebay/HF, or from an online store like Nordstroms or Revolve.

Jenny told me (becuase I don't ebay and paypal alot, i don't have any experience with them) that best is to way at least after paypal completely withdraw the fund out of her account, then it's safe to send out the items. Basically, we were waiting until the fund, which is a huge amount, to be transfered completely to her checking account and clear from paypal account before we ship out. Is that clear? I don't know if i'm making any sense here

because I was asking Liz to at least help me out with the shipping and the insurance fee because I have already gave her a golden discount over 50% off for both bags, but Liz only want to pay up to 1500 and so honestly i didn't want to pay off my pocket any more money and this never happened before, i never had problem with post office, so i thought delivery confirmation will be just fine. You know what i mean?

I kind of lost track of the timeframe - but yes 2 weeks is a very long time for something so expensive..

yes i understand now. this whole thing sucks and i really hope it works out for both of you/ the transaction is confusing all the way around with all of the 3rd parties involved!

Yeah the insurance fee would be staggering on an item worth $1500
($17 in insurance fees with USPS on that amount)

to make it simple, we talked, we agreed, she sent payment but i didn't sent out the bags until payments are cleared on Jenny's checking account, so all the talking and clearing fund from paypal account took 1 week. And lastly the shipping (which i dropped off the 27th) is the 2nd week

No.. I called USPS and i said total value is alittle over 3000 dollars because of tax on both items based on retail too, and the lady said the insurance will be 22 dollars.. plus shipping, so asking 30 dollars i thought was fair to Liz. Basically i wasn't asking for excessive shipping cost to make some extra dimes, i wasn't, i just based on what the lady said on the phone
