I would have filed a claim also since $1500.00 is a lot of money.
I hope everything all works for for all the people involved in this.

geez, i just read thru all these posts and just wanted to throw some positivity in here! i am sincerely hoping the bags will show up soon (and i think they will) and this issue will be resolved. i hate to hear about anybody having to file a paypal claim!

i have taken from this thread that i will from now on insure pretty much anything i sell on here or ebay.

girls, keep your chin up. everything will work out!

I purchased insurance on a jacket I was sending yesterday and took the package up the usps desk. The post office lady said that even with insured items they do not scan until delivery, that it is now usps policy. So I'm not sure insurance would have helped in this matter (or any matter that involves an item getting lost).

I guess if you obtain a receipt from a postal office, then you're covered?
