I went to the target closest to me a little bit ago...and did not see any TR's.....There are 6 targets within 50 miles of my home though...I am going to check out the super target and see what I find there...I really hope this is not hapening to TR..

^^I agree, but once TR goes into chain stores like target you will lose the exclusive appeal of the jeans...I know in chat it is getting heated in that post, but I have to agree with everyone who is sad to see premium denim sold at big chain stores. Once TR goes to Target or any other store like that it will lose its appeal....I am totally against Tr going to Target for the simple reason that the jean becomes something that is too easily found...you will start to see TR on every 13 year old girl in every state. It will become like LEI or mudd...not only will it burn out the brand name faster but you will loose quality at some point due to mass production. It is never good when I high end label goes chain store...

I remember a local boutique in my area wanting to sell "TR" but the store owner told me that when she contacted TR about this, her store needed to be "good enough" to carry their jeans. If this is the case, I wonder if target is getting their TRs straight from TR or through another vendor. I love target . . . for random things. But i certainly don't think they are considered "good enough" to carry TRs

I personally don't see anything wrong with teens finally being able to wear the jeans that their idols wear. With TR going to Target, they are going to double their sales, or triple and rake in fortunes. So good for them, maybe less fortunate people that can't pay 275.00 for a pair of jeans can own a pair now, although $150.00 is still alot of money to spend on kids cloths. There are more important things to spend money on like, rent, utilities, food, education, etc...I see Too many people with an obsession to high end, exclusive brand denim that get themselves into serious debt because of this. Its DENIM for goodness sakes, not gold. besides what on earth are the people out there with 10+ pair of TR jeans going to do with them, say if they were to die tomorrow? Can't take them with you. Plus Whats in a name??? I personally would rather have 5 pair of medium priced denim jeans than 1 pair of over priced exclusive jeans. I own a pair of TR, R & R, Sevens, and other than the different styles, there isn't anything special about any of them, they are all made of denim.

I kinda get what cajunqueen is talking about.

They're still priced at $150 per pair, which is still expensive for most people who have other things to worry about like getting face wash or whatever it is they're getting at Target. Plus at $150 per pair, it's no different from getting them from Off 5th, Last Call or the Rack. I'm pretty sure you all don't have to worry about $30 clearance racks because stores aren't that dumb. They'll mark them down but not way way low.

I think that it's a smart move for TR. They'll get a lot more sales and since there are more Targets than say Off 5th, Rack, & Last Call. Soon, TRs are going to show up at Marshalls just like how Sevens pop up from time to time. It probably bugs some of you guys but that's how brands are. They don't last forever unless their prices keep increasing and nothing ever goes on sale like LV.

But the TRs that are going to be sold at Target are probably going to be marked something like True Religion Brand Jeans FOR Target. It's not going to be the same. Just like Issac Mizrahi and etc...
