I seriously hate Guess. The store that they have in Winnipeg is full of really tacky jeans (that are not worth the money they charge) and clothing that looks poorly made yet they are charging 10 arms and 5 legs for it.

I will be the first person to admit that i wear premium denim because i am a snob and i like to wear expensive clothing. Yes i am a consumer whore who spends most of her money on clothing, but there are a lot of people out there who spend 1000s on cars/tvs/computers etc. I am quite sure that Ferrari enthusiasts would be a bit upset if Ferrari decided to join forces with Kia or Ford (not that i am knocking those car makes).

Well, pretty much everyone makes their share of tacky garish jeans, Diesel and TR included. I bought this year some Guess jeans and slim-fitting trousers that are good quality, great fit for me and have nice reasonable washes, nothing loud or obnoxious. I am sure they copied someone else's styles, but heck... I paid less thant $20 for them and they are very nice and fit me great. Dunno where you look, but when I go to a Guess store or outlet I can often find jeans/pants/shirts that I find appealing.

Mmmmmmmkay... Enzo Ferrari did offer to sell Ferrari to Ford in late 60's, but backed out at the last minute when Fiat bought him out... soooooo...

Today I went to the target greatlands thats like 20 min from my house. I have two targets that are closer..neither of them had the TR's, but the Greatlands target had TR, Antik and Joe's. It was funny watching people look at the price tag and then have a heart attack..

but the thing that i did like was that I felt free to try on whatever I wanted, unlike when I go to Nordstroms I always feel weird if I don't buy anything.

they also had coach and I saw Tommy Hilfiger polos in the mens section. I didn't get to look at much else b/c I was with my mom and we were in a hurry.

yeah, i literally ran thru the store and was grabbing the last 6 off the shelf, and a woman was lucky enough to grab one of them, and there were people behind me that were a little miffed. but hey, they weren't buying them for their kids either, they were doing the exact same thing i was, so i didn't feel bad. well, i actually did give one of them to my daughter for her birthday...

they are hard to come buy so nutso's on ebay will pay big bucks for them. well, not now, b/c there are like 10 MILLION on ebay right now, but around XMAS time, if they are sold out, they will go for a lot more.

yeah, thats the thing i dont like about going to nordstroms/boutique to try on jeans. there is always SAs hovering over me and saying how much they like the jeans and i feel bad b/c there is no way im going to pay retail for them
