True Religion at Target

Thread Starter
Now True Religion is at Target too! Joeys, Joey Big T's, Marcos and various other styles are selling for $149. This is horrible!!!!
OMG--i have no words...
is this at targets nationwide?
i doubt they'll be there long. i don't think they'll go over well. people shopping at target (myself included) are not there to drop that kind of cash on one pair of jeans, no matter what the brand. it would just feel wrong carrying them home in the red & white plastic bag along with the diapers and shampoo!

was this sighted at only the women's/men's department or both?

My Target doesn't have anything but "Mossimo premium" denim.
I'm gonna go burn all my Tr's
I don't get why it's such a big deal. So what if Target sells them and if the price is good I say go for it. Where I live we don't have many boutiques or dept stores selling designer denim, but we just got a Target so this saves me a toll and gas of having to drive to Jersey. People are getting to stuck up!!!
i havent seen any designer denim/purses at mine either.
good for target i guess. designer denim is designer denim in the end. people dont exactly go "hey those are target jeans", true jean fans will admire the brand and not where you got them from.

i go to target to buy tank tops alot, havent seen preimium denim there at all..

WTF!!! r u serious????
yea they def. want stay there long... i just don't want everyone and there mom wearing tr and playing it out u know lol
post #12 of 146
I also agree most people going there wont be wanting to fork over that much for some jeans.. They probably really wont know what TR are, ya know?
Ok which TARGET??!! I want phone numbers of the stores to confirm-I found out that when they were sold to Costco a while ago the distributor was sued because its not supposed to be sold in places like that
post #14 of 146
Well, the Target in Slidell, Louisiana didn't have them.

I was there earlier today...

i think everyone has the right to wear tr's [and other premium denim for that matter].. if u can afford it, then why not? i don't get why some people feel that they're the only ones that can wear premium denim. i wish we had target in canada coz our zellers suck!
i went to target the other day after i heard they were selling antiks now. i didnt see any antiks.

as for TR-Target, fuck. i hope i dont see it around here

Who do you people think shop at Target, only Hillbilies? I shop at Target and alot of wealthy people who also shop @NM and Saks, etc shop there too. I can't beleive how narrow minded everyone is being. I know that when I pull in the parking lot there are Range Rovers, MB, and BMW's galore. Since when is Target only for the poor...

who gives a flying fuck where shit is sold, if you like it and have the means to buy it, thats all that should matter.
^lol agreed! I dont understand why it would matter where it's sold. i mean it seems like everyone here who has a target around them shop there anyways, why else would you know it's being sold? I dont see the problem. I live in canada like payo1a and i'd rather have a target than zellers.
for the record, TR is already played out.

That's cool if you don't like them anymore. Honestly, if you just buy them b/c they're expensive...that's not.

By my earlier statement - I didnt mean that "poor people " or "hillbillies" shop there. I just think that among the other clothing in the store thats under $50 it would look funny to see a $150 pair of jeans there.
I am just judging by the store I go to where I get some of my damaged TR from people ask me if Im nuts paying that price for jeans w/ damage on them.

I personally dont mind if target carries TR, or any other stores for that matter. I just know that people in my neighborhood wouldnt really embrace the high priced jeans at target. (which $150 really is not high priced for some of TR retail )
