Zathan 71J, sizing problems - Page 2

That's the thing, I want them to be long. I have long legs and a thin waist so it's hell trying to find a pair of jeans that fit. I'm usually stuck buying 32L's that run long, since 34L is pretty hard to come by in my waist size. Does Diesel even make 28 x 34 / 29 x 34?
Really, usually all designer denim is perfect for guys with small waists and long legs (as most inseams are 32 or 34). I do believe some Diesel runs in 34l, but the 71j DOES run long. My guess is that it will be more like a 33" inseam, similar to TR. I'm pretty sure the 71j won't be too short for you.

pretty much everything diesel makes comes in 34L for all sizes.

My 71J is a 30 inseam, and the inseam ran true to size before washing. After washing, it shrank about half an inch.

Interesting - does the 71j come in 27x30? Or will I have to buy it in 27x32?

27x30

assuming they are not sold out

listen up people. nearly ALL jeans (with very, very few exceptions) from the denim line (fashion line pants come in one standard length normally is available in 30, 32, and 34 inseams in EVERY waist size. they may not offer them through department stores and online retailers in all variations of sizes, but if you suck it up and call a diesel store and pay retail you can get any size that you need. assuming that they are not sold out, of course.

jskidder- do you know if any stores near you have the Zathan 71j in 27x30? If you know I'd appreciate your input, I really don't want to go through the yellow pages calling random Diesel stores across the states...
if you call one diesel store you can ask them to check all the other stores in the US's inventory as well

chicago never carried zathan in 71j. just call any store and they will check the inventory. you can get the number to a store from the diesel website. try beverly center, i think they had a bunch of them before and they are on the west coast so they are open right now. just tell you what you're looking for and if they have it anywhere in the usa they will take care of everything. you won't even have to call the store that has it yourself.

i think i heard that zathan 71j was pretty much all sold out though, so good luck!

Thanks much, bud.

The smallest size I've seen in Diesel jeans in Canada is a 28 (for mens) and they only come in a 32 or 34" length...
yeah, canada has no 30 inseam and no sizes below 28. usa is actually one of the only countries with 30 inseams.

my post above about sizing was in reference to us diesel stores only...

Wow, Beverly Center was out, I got the LAST PAIR IN THE COUNTRY from Soho! I feel special
post #42 of 69
So do these run true-to-size in the inseam? If that's the case, could one of you guys call to see if they have any 29 x 34 left?
wait, there are no more?! I guess that saves me the hassle of driving to Tampa...still kind of bummed though.
they may get another shipment - guys at union square told me they've sold MUCH faster than the company expected so they may produce another batch. Also, some jeans are literally never made in 30 inseam (shazor 88S for example)
I'm so happy :>

That'd be pretty sweet if they didn't make another batch, make them more rare AND have a higher resell :>
post #46 of 69
I wear a 32 in almost all jeans, and my first pair of Diesel was a 30L - fell right on top of my shoe perfectly. Weird.
good luck finding a 71j in stores
Alright, I want these bad. I just tried on a pair of Zathan 8BE in 30 x 32 (smallest they had), and while they were loose the length was perfect, so I'm hoping a 32L would do me in 71J. Anyone know how 8BE compares to 71J in sizing?

Now I just dont know whether to get 28w or 29w. My best fitting pair is my Koffha 796 in 28x32, but the waist has stretched out to almost 16" and the OP's 28's measure 14.8" which seems a bit small. What do you guys think? I'm about to plunk down a ridiculous $350 CAD at SSense for the 28x32's...
28 for sure. Just hope you have better luck with SSense than I did...

Sorry for rehijacking the thread, but I'm wondering how long it'll take to stretch out my 71J's (and 89X's, I guess). I suppose it's supposed to take longer than a few wears, right? Because I've been wearing both for like 12 hours a day, switching off day by day... this has been going on for just under a week.
