I returned the jeans I received.

You can read the feedback his got and see that some members on ebay wrote aboute his fakes.

Again, his fake jeans is very closer to the real jeans - but fake.

THANK YOU for letting us know... cuz in his description he said its authentic.. what a scammer!!! thanks again!!!!!!

You have to watch out for this seller, he has a few accounts and its scandalous that ebay still allow him to sell.  I have complained about this as its not fair on customers who are not familiar with Diesel as the copies are good copies, but those who know Diesel will see an obvious fake still.  I am ebay seller JPR_CLOTHING and his prices were so good I bought a box of Shioner 8PN off him many years ago now, which was all fake, good fakes as well but fake, so we had to return and get a refund,  his customer service is why he doesn't get much negative feedback, quick refunds, sorts problems, but he is still selling fakes and you have to watch out as he has a website and at least one or two more ebay stores.

You can find some great deals on ebay, but you can easily see if something is too good to be true by breaking down what they are charging and receiving:

Thavar 608T for 89 euros

1.) ebay take 12% of that (11 euros)

2.) paypal 4% (3.5 euros)

3.) sales tax in France is 20% (which is 15 euros inclusive of the price)

4.) he offers free next day shipping in France which lets say costs him 7 euros (cant be sure so an estimate)

Amount left after basic costs is 59.5 euros

This amount is before any staff and warehousing costs and he is prepared to receive 59.5 euros for these jeans and is meant to be making profit receiving that amount!

This is a 290 euro jean RRP and its brand new season, this guy is selling to receive 59.5 euros and make profit at this amount, just impossible, also I know full well that Diesel dont even sell this jean WHOLESALE for 89 euros to its customers (maybe if your ASOS you may get it around there or below)  but certainly no small retailer in France will be getting anything like this price currently or to be honest EVER on this jean as even when this passes to past season you will not pick it up for 59.5 euros or less.

Hope this helps you make an informed decision when it comes to deals that are too good to be true, they are out there but they are rare!  If you ever want a second opinion on anything Ill be glad to help, having traded on ebay for a number of years we are aware of the fake sellers!

Damn just bought these thavar 608t a few days ago and I am from China!! Does he accept international returns???

And if he does accept returns, who will be responsible for the postage? It's definitely not a small number. So frustrating!!

once you will get the jeans, contact the seller and ask refund + free return shipping. If he will disagree - open a case on ebay and tell them. I'm sure ebay will know what to do.

Received Thavar 608t from this seller. They are fake jeans indeed. I don't even think they are good copies as the materials and wash are so poorly made. I saw the policy of eBay Money Back Guarantee and found this:

Counterfeit items

If a buyer suspects that an item is counterfeit, and there are strong indicators that the item is counterfeit, we don't require the buyer to return the item to the seller. The buyer agrees to cooperate with us to ensure the proper disposal of the item. In such instances, we refund the buyer for the full cost of the item and original shipping, and the seller reimburses us for the refund. The buyer may not sell the item on eBay or elsewhere.

Although I contacted the seller and he agreed to return the jeans and refund entire purchase amount+return shipping, I think it would be better to contact eBay customer team and tell them about the situation and see what they will do with it. Hopefully they can shut down his store to avoid more customers being affected like me.

May you post any pic please?

Just out of curiosity, so people would be aware of this even looking into them!

And secondly, it would help us to recognize an other kind of fake in the future, if we are unlucky enough to meet one (or seeing one in Official Aut.Thread) :)

Thanks Nickma - That seller almost got me too, until I posted the link on here... good luck hopefully the return purchase isn't very painful.

You must tell this to eBay - They will take care of him.

I hope I have asked DB before the purchase as well! I need to watch out more when buying things on eBay, too disappointed this time.
