I just didnt care to go into that detailing on ebay.. you're lucky Cez, just had an offer for 225 too.

I would need a pair of 31's or 30's in these- just too big in the waist for me. Yes, the Coated Claws will be a nice replacement I saw your pair Vonwitzleben, but I'd prefer a newer pair, like drwavedawg's.. which I may just grab too. gotta sell some more stuff first

Sweet.

btw, I just got a msg from someone off ebay regarding these after I closed the item- they are willing to pay $300 for them. Don't worry, they are still yours; but if they dont fit you properly or something, let me know and I'll forward you their ebay ID so you can contact them...

Noice chunk of extra change; I'd just expect a kickback if thats what you ended up doing

Word. Thanks for holding on to them for me.

lol about the late offers. I hate it when people come out of the woodworks after they've been sold.

^ do you moved from bootcut to skinny jeans, Cez? If I remember well, you rock almost only Zathans and Trouleg...

Right, I mixed it up. 72H is that acid-wash, with the subtle spiderweb kinda bleaching.

^Darnoc: I just mentioned it to correct my post. No problem with that as anyone willing to buy those would have probarbly seen themselves.

And I had that kind of offers as well on many of my eBay items. As well for ended auctions with a lot of bids. I mean wtf. just make up your mind before bidding and make sure to bid enough if you really want that item.

+1 for beeing commited to your word/contract, even though loosing a bit of money.

Congrats Cez, for a outstanding pair of jeans. I will probarbly keep mine, btw.

I know : / Sorry to let down team bootcut! I never thought I'd make the switch. I swear, honestly. I was ready to die wearing boot cuts. Ask Ross.

It is a really long and complicated story. A bit sad also, but I must be strong and tell my story so that noobs know that there is LIFE after bootcuts.

:Reenactment: skip ahead if you have no patience for BS

I woke up one morning brushed my teeth, trimmed the bush, put on my Zathans and got ready to walk out the door. However just as I was walking down the stairs ready to take on the day I heard a swishing noise, like the oceans salty breeze beating against a sail. I looked around to see if there was an open window, maybe the wind was blowing the curtains. I don't know???

Anyways I digress. I looked around and saw nothing so I continued on my merry way, but that sound kept following. I got scared and began to speed up, but the swishing was getting faster and louder. I got really frightened and took off without even looking back. I closed my eyes and ran harder than I ever had. I could not believe how fast I was moving. I was so excited that I looked down at my feet and realized I was not wearing boot cuts, these were all out bell bottoms and that swishing sound was not the wind or some imaginary beast. It was the excess denim around my ankles rubbing against each other.

:fin:

Okay that was a really long rant, but I had some time to kill and there ain't shit else to read on HF anyways. Long story short, I got really tired of the huge leg openings. I felt really awkward and uncomfortable especially after wearing Viker and Trouleg. Honestly I saw it coming.

So yes I am making the move. I'm selling off all but 2 Zathan 72d/72y and converting those into straight legs. Keeping all my Troulegs .

I'm thinking the same too...but love my 72D/89Z too much to sell them, better get them altered

We're all making our way out of bootcuts...

Nice story Cez
I'm still able to rock Zatinys with Thanazs and my "new" denimlove Slammers. (I also get rid of the huuuuge flared Zathans. This was a BIG DECISION, but I felt really weird when I put Zathans on...).

I first sold off my Zathan's, and kept Trouleg's and Zatiny's.

Then I go rid of the Zatiny's, and finally just last week got rid of my Trouleg's. Don't own a single pair of bootcuts now.

I think there's no going back once you start wearing cut that are slimmer around the lower leg.

I also now see people in bootcut jeans totally different, it's weird how your own taste can change.
