Dying/Tinting Zathan 40C CORDS

I bought these sweet Zathan cords:

The thing is... I want them a little dirty or something, they almost look striped with white. A grey or grey/tan wash on these would be sick! I want to figure out how to do something like that. Anybody got any ideas? I'd mail them out or whatever.

Hey Robness,

 

I have the same problem with my new Zathan cords.  They are 40C and they are a bit too light.  I realize you posted this question about 4 years ago but I was wondering if you came up with a solution.  Thanks in advance.

Robness hasn't been around in awhile.  I think Grondie did something like what Robness was thinking of using a tan/grey clay bath..  been awhile since we've had any DIY wash apllication discussions and I don't think all of the threads from HF were properly xferred over; you could try some more searching tho

I ended up selling these (totally regret it), but I've used the RIT dye for other stuff, works well.

 

I have so many pairs of blue jeans, dyed some of them grey just for the hell of it, my 70Z turned out kinda cool.
