here are some pics i took in outdoor lighting to give a better idea of how they look:





making them look this way basically consists of a little bit of starch, a lot of rubbing (1500 grit), and a couple washings.

My theory:
He used starch to make well defined creases. Just starch your jeans and watch a hockey game, you'll have nice creases. Then he used 1500 grit on the creases to define them. Then a few washes, tadam!

the key is to make sure you rub the jeans when you're wearing them. and make sure it's very lightly.

you got a resonably 3d fade for sandpaper, nice work.

a safer option for rubbing is a piece of denim.

the best is to wear the hell out of them then hard wash
