yep, my flexibility is genetic too. I got the idea to put feet behind head from watching mom do it. She's really flexible as well. It's never something either one of us has worked at, mostly just good for "stupid human tricks"

haha. I'm actually too flexible. Well, my joints are anyways. My ligaments are hyperflexible which, has been great for 18 years of ballet, but not so gret for my joints. My doctor has officially banned me from any flexibility-requiring activity for a year (sniff sniff) after 2 years of dancing professionally-(4-8 shows a week for 2 years) killed my ligaments to the point where they weren't tight enough to hold my joints in place....ooops. Maybe a blessing in dsiguise, sends me back to the real world..sigh.

yeah, I wonder the same thing too... every time I pull one off, they just sit there, perplexed with awe I imagine... then ten minutes later they just leave... it's a good thing though, I don't know if I can hold those poses for any longer than 10 minutes
