Dude...
^^ Sonic, I know you can throw some crazy style in here, but Damn ,this one is the worst I've seen from ya....
thanks dudes much appreciated....did you guys honestly believe that I wasn't aware that my post would be negatively received? I never look for approval or validation when it comes to style....especially from a forum that believes $300 button up dress shirts and a pair of $200 jeans is the epitome of fashion.

Real style is very seldomly displayed on these pages...rather just cookie cutter examples of what people have been told is stylish There is very rarely any expression of individuality

Did you post the ugliest outfit you could find, just so you could write this uber-defiant, anti-trendy post as a follow-up?

No one here just "believes $300 button-up dress shirts and a pair of $200 jeans is the epitome of fashion"...did you see everyone beasting over the $15 H&M shirt? I will agree that it's decidedly denim-centric around here, but all it would take is ONE of us to post a killer pair of summer slacks to change the tune for a few weeks...maybe you should be that guy, instead of the angry guy...

It would be one thing if your outfit was compelling in an unorthodox sort of way, but it just makes you look even shorter. As a short dude I shy away from anything that exacerbates my condition...as should anyone under six feet

EDIT - in this age of highly refined looks and blindingly precise manufacturing capabilities, everyone is wearing a variation on the same uniform. It only takes one small change in the size or cut of a piece (shirt, pants, shoes, whatever) to take an outfit from good to great...so you really don't have to go crazy in order to distinguish yourself. Bad things happen more often than not

Whatever. I still wear my old Puma Speed Cats from 2005, and I'm sure no one here would be caught dead in them (or my small collection of re-issued Nike retros, or a lot of shit I wear with pride). So good luck sticking the "conformist" label on me.

However...I know my surroundings...so I'm not gonna post my Speed Cats on here, try to pass it off as individuality and call everyone else a bunch of philistines, when really I just haven't thrown them out because they're comfortable and I don't feel like spending money on something new.

Oh,I get it now. You're not a conformist. You're just an easily intimidated individual

How did you get that from what I wrote? I didn't even say I wouldn't post them...I just said I wouldn't do what you did, which was:

Post a WAYWT pic of a bunch of old, shopworn shit that doesn't go together

Then hover over the thread, knowing you're going to get negged or clowned

Then immediately hit "quick reply" with previously composed/memorized talking points on how nobody here has any style

Rinse, repeat
Okay this is just too silly not to reply to. Sonic you are just starting to really get on my nerves. You are ALWAYS on the defensive when someone does not like what you wear. Lets face it, your style is not what a lot of people appreciate here; who cares? Post it if you really want to, and stop being rude to people who dont think the way you do. I'm really getting sick and tired of reading your posts, because you think you know it all. You always claim that you have the "real deal" style and that we are just a bunch of sheep. I say take your negative attitude elsewhere because it is getting really old fast.

As far as your outfit goes, I really don't understand it. That is okay though because you are comfortable in it, and that really is all that matters. I don't know what it is, but the cargo pants with a jacket just really looks off to me.
sonic, you'r acting like a girl who is pms-ing, plz stop.

lke ross said, its like you are waiting for the drama and for a man your age, thats sad.

edit: lol, banana got pissed at the same time.
hahah yeah. I would not say pissed it just seems so immature to me.
I agree, you cant expect everyone here to like what you wear, no matter how much you like it.

I was thinking that it had a hobo-ish look to it too, I just did not want to be the first to say it.
hovering? I'm lying in the park soaking the sun in and listening to a Bo Diddley tribute(RIP) and for the record, I never said I have the real style....just my style. Ross,I don't believe you even know what you're looking at... Other than it's something you consider hideous
Banana and Julz, your devotion to Ross is understandable and commendable

It's too difficult to post from my phone so I'm done for now

I plussed this part rather than the rest, just to be clear.

People should rock what they want, but trashing someone's outfit isn't in the spirit of what HF is all about.
Yep, to change topic, here's me, but I got no style and I am too fast for the camera, but I did get my new dior shades.
