maybe ghetto is a strong word, but when the nicest labels a store carries is diesel, lacoste and MAYBE d&g i won't be shopping there personally. i have no interest in mass produced junk like that, with the exception of diesel denim. and i can only get that at a diesel store since 26 isn't sold anywhere else. its not the stores themselves that are ghetto, its just that the labels they carry are junk imo. hell,i would shop at odd lots if they carried stuff by designers i was interested in. but the fact is none of those dept stores mentioned sells anything i would care to wear.

actually.... i think attempts to make up for all his insecurities in real life by being pretentious over the internet

yeah i was at j crew yesterday and they had this black hoodie i liked and it fit really great and i was like "omg $80 are you fucking serious?" and they were like "yeah..it has mercerized cotton..hand dyed..blah blah" i wasnt really listening. i was like "you're going to have to charge at least $325 for this i'm not leaving the store unless i throw down a grand on less than three items." i ended up putting the hoodie and a pair of shorts on my credit card (167.19) and making a check out to the CEO of the company, "Rachel Lewis" for the remainder of the bill ($812.14). I mentioned that it was ironic that the person "assisting" me was also named "Rachel" and said that maybe she would be the next CEO of the company. i'm wearing the hoodie today and i really feel like a million bucks.

Hanes white Tees are surely carried by one of these three: Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom's

I like Target, because the underwear is cheap, and there is a bathroom right up front.

I don't like "department stores" either. The merchandising is very uninspiring. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. With a bit of effort you can find great deals elsewhere.

However, my opinion of your opinion is that it's so far removed from reality, it's like Paris Hilton not knowing what Wal-Mart is. That said, do you judge other people by the clothes they wear? Because my parents don't make much money, and they money they do make they use to putting me through college. That said, my parents have kept sweaters for over 20+ years and buy from JC Penny and Macy's, etc... that must make them "ghetto" but I think they have their priorities in check, especially after leaving a war torn country.

Thank you Lorna, Apryl, Shop and luckee....James, the Nordstrom in Topanga is a high end store and carry absolute everything you can imagine (no Dior sorry), the one in Santa Barbara is mediocre, so I can of understand your point, still ghetto should be more like TJ Maxx in my opinion, and for Trippi...Touche!
