I'll just list some things I buy from Kensington Market/Queen St. W./Bloor St. W as indie designer. The garment has no brand name and the sewer hasn't included any tag information in it. There's not even a store name per se when you're walking by those tents. I'm not sure how else to describe a skirt from there as anything except "indie designer".

Thats all well and fine, "vintage top" "unknown brand thrift cardigan" but "random" really bugs me. Nothing about the garment was random, it fits, wearer chose to wear it, and more than likely the wearer chose to purchase it. What makes this item random?? The only reason I can think of that a person would write random is because for some strange reason the person is embarrassed to admit that this garment that they are wearing isn't "designer".
As for shops on queen, or kensington. The stores have names, if the garment you got doesn't have a brand. Put the shops name down, give them some credit. Maybe somebody will see something you have on and be interested in that product or the shop you got it at. Help those indie designers out.
