I don't like white tights that much either, but it was 89 degrees today and I didn't feel like wearing my usual beloved black tights... I would have roasted to death, haha

Me too, but there is zero contrast in the outfit. A blue shirt or even plain white would have been a better choice IMO

When you say "orthodox," do you mean Orthodox literally (ie. Greek, Russian, Ethiopian and other Christian Orthodoxy), or do you just mean very conservative?

haha yeah the church I go to is pretty conservative (big, floppy, Kentucky Derby-esque ladies' hats are a common sight), and i could've sworn i got a few strange glances at my Easter service outfit today...
