trends that need to die. - Page 16

Most fashion items have a purpose and if you are wearing Uggs in the snow and Crocs at the pool/beach I don't see much of a problem.

Wearing Crocs as normal footwear is really no worse than wearing ugly athletic shoes the same way.

uggs don't last very long in the snow; if they get wet they start looking shitty real fast. you should know that duck boot man

and crocs seem really odd to wear at a pool, i don't know why you wouldn't just wear flip flops.

Never worn or owned UGGs so I wouldn't know. But yeah, sheepskin is like suede so I can't imagine it being good in the snow now that you mention it. I know those boots are warm; what was their original purpose?

Crocs are the kind of shoes you could wear in the pool if you were old and weak and worried about your feets slipping.

Back in the early 80's all the surfers in Laguna Beach were wearing them, after surfing in the early am. That's where I saw them first, on surfers.

Yeah i heard they were originally for australian surfers to keep their feet warm.

my question: how do you get the sand out of the sheepskin?

They were for apres surf.

Ugg boots were originally warm slippers and boganwear.

the first time I saw crocs were at boating marinas.. I am totally against them as a fashion shoe to wear anywhere but in times when its necessary and has a purpose.. like boating, and gardening, or for scrub shoes in the hospital..... alot of the boaters I know where them, that way you dont have to take off your shoes as soon as you get on the boat, and dont have to use the mr clean magic eraser to clean off the black marks from the soles..

btw I own croc flip flops and they are black so they look like regular flops.. and I use them for the garden ( b/c they come clean so easy) and for when I am going boating.

my friends here are big surfers and they lived in hawaii and aussie land for a while... they all wear uggs when they are done surfing, more out of habit from the years that they did it before, its not quite cold enough here to warrant them..

The only "trend" I know I'll never try are Boyfriend jeans!

^ I think the Boyfriend Jeans look isn't as bad as how tight a lot of the dudes on this forum rock their jeans.

How about those God awful tapered jeans that are tight on guys' calves.

Who the fuck likes how that looks?
