yes exactly! you totally can be skinny, white and pasty and not be emo. i fucking hate shaggy curly hair and all those other emo traits. if you think about it all these people that are attracted to skinny, white kids with shaggy hair would technically be turned on by napoleon dynamite. and i dont wanna hear 'well his hair is more of an afro'. it doesnt matter. its shaggy, he's tall and skinny so he basically fits the description of a hot guy by certain girls' standards. i happen to be pretty skinny, white, and my hair is a bit longer than average but i would never get some ridiculous played out 'shag cut' unless i wanted to look like some ass from the starting line.

my ex girlfriend wore oversized sunglasses wayyy before they were a trend. so i guess thats cool, although she is not. but now they are just terrible and i wasnt really in love with them before either. although i never did tell her that. but they look very much like mary kate olsen and her "boho chic" look (she should really just.. die). i also can't stand those white rimmed sunglasses that all the beach girls are wearing now. and come to think of it, can't stand the beach girls either!

theres really no way around it.

ahahah and napoleon dynamite? i fucking hate that guy... someone at school told me the way i acted sort of reminded him of napoleon dynamite. i told him that he really needed to go watch the movie again because i act NOTHING like that.

maybe its cause i call people idiots all of the time, who knows.

Dude The starting lines new album is pretty good. I have to give it credit. And the guitarist was smart enough to get himself an orange amp, but Kennys hair needs to go(long shaggy hair he has)

I do think it's possible for people to get away with some of these trends that people have named though and still look fabulous. Like the Gucci monogrammed bag, I used to not like it, it's grown on me actually and I've seen people with them, and I think they looked great, not like a touristy fanny pack. And bermudas you can totally dress up the right way instead of looking like you work on boat or something like that. So yeah, these "trends that need to die" IMO or how I have said them, are just things that I personally don't like, but I don't hate on people who do them, they just are not for me.

Well actually, gyms are great pickup spots second only to bars.
If you see a girl that's actually sweating and/or someone that's not wearing anything skintight, then stay away. That means they really just want to work out.

i guess i'm just weird. i'd rather bump into a girl at a supermarket or a bookstore and find that she's amazing rather than convince myself that some shallow blonde that i just met at the bar is the one for me. and as far as gyms, i guess it depends on the gym and what kind of people frequent it. some gyms seem to be gathering places for all the meatheads while some im sure are for more civil people.
