Glad you enjoyed it. Philly's an underrated city. We're sort of the unwanted child between NYC and DC.

sorry, i've been drinking. i just think you could do better, as gstar is typically pretty uninspired and fits with odd chest to arm slimness proportions. hell, i just weart jeans and a plain t most days so its not like i am supremely well dressed most if the time myself. i just place a heavy premium on fit and proportion.

Yes, I can see the beer bottle in your avatar, so which brand would you recommend for a summer jacket (for morning and night when it's cooler)
there are tons of great brands, just find the one that fits you best. fit>all when it comes to jackets, and all designers cut things differently.

bro, Chucks at times are inevitable...I am not the biggest fan, but I'm sporting them now with my Thanaz 71J and they look so much more casual than loafers / boots especially with a crazy distressed light wash like the 71J...

How are they inevitable? I don't understand. It's not like they're an indispensable yet less fashionable item (like shorts or loose-fitting chinos or pleated dress pants or old-man-style wingtips or Polo shirts)...they are just ugly fucking shoes. The big white cap on the toe is clown-like and stupid...the only Chucks that look halfway decent at all are the all-white ones.

For whatever purpose Chucks are supposed to serve, I can think of a ton of sharper, equally comfortable (if not more so) and not ugly options. Puma, Adidas, even Reebok all make sneakers that are better-looking, more durable, and more comfortable than Chucks. Not to mention less conformist.

Thanks Bud!!! I love em'

Some people like chucks some don't, end of discussion.

Honestly, I've never seen anybody look good with Chucks. They look exactly like clown shoes and if they're a size 10 or over they are way too long and flat looking. Sorry.

They got me laid last night!! so I guess I like them, lol

No offense, but that looks absolutely awful ! I mean, if you would wear at least a good fitting jeans and white chucks, i'd probably say "Personally i wouldn't wear it, but it looks good on you...", but in case of your outfit there can be no talk of matter of taste...

In my opinion, there's only one way to make it work:

Fair enough, but what other shoe that costs $40 looks better with a black T and Thanaz 71J that I don't have to worry about messing up...

^keds, tretorns, purcells, $5 cheapo canvas shoes from wal-mart, lots of stuff. there is no excuse for chucks imo.
Well to all these retorts I can only respond by...to each his own...

imo there is no excuse for 200 dollar Diesel Stylelab Rainbow skys, diesel riveted necklaces, and energie fur lined zip up sweaters but we all know people make mistakes right?

at least chucks have been around for a long time, obviously converse is doing something right..
