Thavar 8880M W29/L32 :

I`ve read that it stretches because of lyocell , should i size one down ? This is the first Thavar (out of three : 811P and 807C) that isn`t so tight at the knees and is not that huge on the waist. But it seems my pair has a glitch at the pocket with the logo, the denim is curled up and it looks odd , though i`ve seen something similar in other pictures as well, is this made on purpose or something ?

This is a picture i found on ebay, mine are curled up more and look much worse, the pocket sometimes turns inside-out lol. (my bad i forgot to make a picture).

Processed By eBay with ImageMagick, z1.1.0. ||B2

Any thoughts ?

@ColdSteel the 8880M look great. They don't look too tight so I wouldn't size down. Mine haven't stretched out.

The pockets look fine too...If you are worried then take the iron to them and the curls will be removed.

Thanks Levislad, i think you`ve meant that they don`t look too loose, but i got your point  As for the curls i`m afraid that it would be stitching related but will see about it. Can anyone remember what was the retail price on them ?

Here`s Shioner 810M :

Haven`t tried all Diesel cuts so far, but it seems Shioner fits my body type pretty well. Only have this and 817H though

Thanks. I am so much in love with this pair. They fit perfect and I find with this thavar they sit slightly lower than my other thavar's and the inside pockets are shorter as well.

DA, excellent fit and the outfit is well put together. The vans look super with those jeans mate!
BlakeJoo, I'm so stealing this outfit! Those darron look really nice, haven't seen that many real life pics of this wash.

Diesel button up (just got it yesterday haha)

Tepphar 830K

Diesel shoes (Kallings)

So i'm not a fan of tepphars really, but I really loved the wash, so i just had to buy it.

And i have a question for people who own Thavar 8x2. Is the denim thick? If you would have to compare it, would it be thick like the 830P wash? Cuz i'm debating on whether to buy a 28 or 29. If its thick like the 830P i would buy a 29, but if it isn't, and is kinda like the 316K thickness, i could handle a W28. Advice would be very helpful! thanks!! :D

8X2 denim is pretty thick - thicker than 816K denim. 8X2 is almost on a par with 888P. I don't own 830P so can't compare with that, sorry.

Yup Chinotto is right, 8x2 is thicker than 830P.. and stiffer in the beginning until you wash them.  830P is super soft and not that that super thick like 888p or 8x2.

Kazu I'm also stealing that outfit.. I been trying to find good combo w/ my 830K and its damn tough.

Thanks Chinotto and Denim Collector! So should i just go a size up (W29) or stay with W28, wash it once or twice to see if it softens?

And go for it Denim Collector! I jhavent bought those shoes yet (been sitting in my employee hold bin) but probably gonna get it this week!

Actually, if you can fit into a 28, go for it - provided the legs and crotch aren't so tight that you find it too uncomfortable/difficult to walk. If you have skinny legs, like me, then it's a safer bet. And you could always try washing it to soften it up if it's still too tight.

I bought a size up for my first 8X2 - even then it was pretty damn tight at first, but then the waist stretched out like crazy. I bought one in my regular size after that, and it's nice and snug, but hasn't stretched out yet to this day. I haven't washed this pair yet, by the way.

Hope this helps.

For those of you seasoned diesel fans that remember Diesel Denim Gallery Thanaz Raw Denim with the yellow stitching, here they are.

These have been posted, by me, in the marketplace for months. Finally fit back into them - so I'm keeping them. You snooze. You lose.

These are what they looked like originally 2008.

This is what they look like today. Beautiful fades.

Diesel launched two raw denims from there Diesel Denim Gallery line, both in thanaz in 2007/2008. You really can't find anything that compares to them. Diesel Denim Gallery was also some of the best denim I have ever seen.

Cheers.

very cool - they are your own pair.. with distressings created by you.  shouldn't sell it.  like how Nudie Jeans says, its your second skin!

^^ x2

shame DDG jeans are available only in one standardized inseam. I had to sell my raws because they were short.
