Thanks man denim addict!  Yeah, i feel like these are transitional to the skinnier jeans.  Looser fits are more popular in the US i feel.  These would be way baggy for everyone that is used to thavar thanaz shioneer.  I'm working my way there, as there are some really cool washes id love to have in a safado!

@ Jambox i started with larkee now my fav cut is shioner/Thavar/Thanaz. I have multiple safado's which i still love and wear them all the time. Skinny cut is not meant for every one. I am all new to skinny jeans tooo.

These are L32, but I tapered them to 17cm, that's why they stack like this.

For the fans, side and back shot:

Best 8x2 I've seen so far, maybe its also cuz of the tapered fit...  you inspired me to think about doing same on my 8x2!!!! hmmmmmmm.   but mine is the more yellowish version.

They're available on Yoox:

Just a word of caution...

-- The laces shredded themselves almost immediately.

-- After 5 days of walking around Amsterdam, the heels were shot.

-- After 6 months, I had them resoled while in Bristol as they were wearing thin and separating.

Having said that though, after spending another $60 on quality repairs, they are by far my favorite footwear. They're comfortable (I can walk miles and miles in them), have an amazing profile for skinny jeans, and look very smart when shined and dressed up.

Nice fit guys, thavar fit much better when you're 185cm+ tall. I can tell you guys (liasnata, da and weenie) are indeed 185cm+ right?

I saw your 8x2, my second pair looks exactly like yours. I definitely recommend tapering them. 17cm jeans look much better on us shorter guys icon_razz.gif

i'm exactly 185 cm and those are L32
Laisnata, you are rockin' that outfit! BAM!

I'm also 185cm and wear 32L jeans but I think sometimes my photos here make me look shorter or the length is too long. Gonna try 30L for 817H coz I don't want too much stacking. A bit of a gamble what the hell eh?

Phukette, maybe because the photos are generally taken indoors? The photo of you outside at the concert in your 886b looked fantastic! Maybe DC, our photographer, can shed some light on this as well:)

Regarding all who own 8x2, did you stick with your usual size or size up one? I sized down one, I was dying to get a pair, and they are tight! I need to unload mine and get another pair! Great shots of all the 8x2's!

mine is 32x32 and this is my regular thavar size

30L is 4cm shorter. Looking at your pics there's definitely room for it. I think 30L is going to look nice icon_smile.gif

drumedge, I tried to size down, but it wasn't really comfortable wearing them. Got my normal size.

Ooh, shall I get my 8x2s out too?
