Got my new  Shioner on today, full review coming up. Sorry for the poor quality pics, its the most miserable dark day here in Ireland.

Aahz - as a photographer myself (that's how i fund my jeans).. I was gonna say I like if the lighting set up at camera left could be bit higher, but then again you are showing us the outfit and focus on the jeans.. in this case excellent lighting!!  i'd add a reflector on camera left to add a bit of fill light to other end.  but overall awesome!!!

Denim Collector, I was kind of torn by that. My face is underlit almost in a scary-story-by-the-campfire sort of way. I thought about bringing a third light above, but I liked the full body key. The slow transition coming off the highlight wraps around the body just gorgeously. It's a big light pushed in as close as possible.

 

It's interesting how the black eats up the fill light on the right.

 

realdeal, that's a fw12. It's identical to the grey version, just olive. As far as I know, the only ones who carried this version was Ssense. By the way, the belt in the last shot's inspired by you!

Overall I really like it.. Most of my gear are on the go w/ me so I dont really have time to set it up in my room and then shoot then pack it all up again for the photoshoots.. but you really inspired me to set something up too... keep up the great work!!

 

yah the local department stores here have the 802K olive as well, they are 50% off now!!!!!  if anyone need me to proxy let me know.. I need an excuse to check out the stores!

I'm just a hobbyist (as you can tell) but I've been playing around for about 20 years. About 90% of my lighting equipment was packed in storage over in the UK for 3 years. After getting all that stuff freighted over, I'm just now getting to pull it out and play again.

The first pair of these I had are awesome, I just fancied a change in terms of where the bleach sports are on the jeans. My initial pair are now in the mall, first time wear on these ones!

Still one of the best washes Diesel have released IMO.

^^ My average size is 29/30. My 886B's are 29/32. They were tight at the beginning, but now they're one size to big in my waist. And yes, they look saggy now.. They still fit nice on my legs, seems like they haven't stretched that much on the upper leg area.. But I think I can size down to 28..
