Thanks bud! I actually called up the Diesel Outlet at Bicester and asked if they had a couple of pairs of Thavar and Thanaz I was after. I have called before and knew full well that even if they had, in the past they had told me that they cannot do telephone sales, so I would have to go in. I live 5 hours away. But anyway, for some reason I still called and asked. They didnt have them so I asked if there was a DBG outlet anywhere as there were also some Excess I wanted, and the chap told me they had some stuff there. So he had a look for Excess 8ML and 8BT for me, and he had 8ML in a 31 for £80.

I will post fit pics when they arrive. Its worth calling them though bud if your after a pair!

Theres probably a little bit too much whiskering, fading, distressing and general denim'ness going on in this entire outfit, but I dont care.

 

Really excited at the moment, my Darron 880R arrived today. Ive got DBG Excess 8ML on the way from a Diesel outlet store, Tepphar 804K will be here Wednesday and I just picked up DBG Excess 81C from YOOX for £69. Will post pics in the 'latest purchases thread' once they all get here.

 

YOOX seem to have knocked a loda money off a lot fo their gear again, well worth taking a look!

trying out new timer app on my phone since i dont have anyone to take pics of me today. just wanted to show my new viker 882d. my new fav jean. like these much much more than 8ne.  100% cotton. super soft. prob softest denim i have. and i like the color more than 8ne.  they are brighter and a more saturated hue of blue.

Phukette and Pjbuk, really nice blazers.  i too love wearing Denim + button up or t-shirt + fitted blazer.  great outfits!

Really intrigued by your DIY Thnaaz. Ive had an eye on the thread I started and was waiting to see fit pics. Looks like you came up a winner. I need to try this, not sure whether I want to do it on my Tepphars though or get a cheap pair from ebay?

I got my Darron 880R yesterday. They are incredible, I love them. Super soft denim with a stretch and the colour is awesome. I love this wash, especially with the features that Darron has.

@ Leftvapor .. I would definitely try sculpturing on an old pair first or even as I did, on just a leg I cut off an old pair of non diesel jeans to make a pair of shorts. I messed with the leg left overs with sandpaper, bleach and a craft knife last summer. Bleach is the worst as there is no going back ! There are several guide vids on youtube also I watched.

I like your Darren 880R immensely, Looks like they are soft denim similar to my Krooley 882V.

That first pic of yours does not have enough light on the jeans to do them justice, I tried throwing some light on your jeans below, perhaps too much light, all our screens show them differently:

Toulouz - man you're getting really good at doing these wrinkles.. I gotta say I love the wrinkle effects but I didn't like the bleach spots on this one.. but that's just me.. The wrinkle effects tho is right on the money.. awesome work.. I think you can easily start accepting orders from other members here to wrinkle their jeans!!!!!!

Leftvapor - yah the 880R is awesome eh? i have it in the Tepphar and its just simply amazing.. I always grab the 880R over the 881W these days..

Lee - those 888P is nice man.. I don't quite dig the black hoodie combo but the jean itself is nice, not too tight like you said before in other post. Awesome fit.

Today I'm wearing the mod'd viker 803W again.. 2nd wear.. Just still debating if should keep or trade...

@ Denim Collector .. Haha I would not accept commissions for wrinkling Jeans, too much responsibility! But the PVA does not seem to harm the denim. I've worn the Sadafo 8AA, the first pair I did, as my everyday jeans so almost every day, dawn to dusk if I have not gone out. The wrinkling has almost gone around the thighs/hips but is still there back of knees and bottoms. So it will not last forever. As they are like everyday jeans they will have to go through the wash soon .. be interesting to see if all the crinkling washes out .. but the sandpaper lines wont so there will be some custom work left if it does.

Btw keep those mod'd Vikers, they are special to you with the mods.

Did you go with your normal size? Is it tighter or looser? I'm normally a 30x30 on Zatiny, Should I stick with the waist 30? TIA!

i went w/ my normal size in 30x32 and im glad i did. i cant rememeber who but somoene said this wash in krooley was hella big on them. maybe it was just in that cut? ive been wearing mine daily for about a week now and they havent stretched much. i'd say go w/ ur normal size.

btw. i noticed a week after i ordered these yoox dropped the price on them.  has anyone had experience dealing w/ yoox customer support on being refunded the price difference?
