That's a seriously nice blazer. The merino is lovely. I'm going to get the shoulders and sleeves tailored in just a bit and it'll be drop-dead perfect.

It's the first thing of Allsaints to ever catch my eye, but I was reticent to pull the trigger back when I knew nothing about the brand.

I was lucky that you had it at just the right time. Thanks!!

better quality pic of APC

Marcus I like the wash. Does APC have tapered jeans but not skinny in the legs as yours?

I just took them back from the tailor last night icon_smile.gif of course I tailored them hah!! I can't bear the original cut
post #21034 of 23913
Oh, shoot, I misread what you said, sorry!! The original cut was tapered but not skinny. I tailored them to make them skinny. The original cut was between thanaz and safado
post #21035 of 23913

Tell me pls what the cut and wash is that. I need to have a look on them:) Trying to find the wash like your.

This is an incredible color! Very cool! And your tailor did a great job!

Grag, it's petit standard raw indigo. I hand made the marks and worn effects with sand paper icon_smile.gif I was still raw couple weeks ago.

Aramis, this tailor does really fine indeed. So that's why you can see me in his trying room a lot recently. About the color, I wanna make them even better. Still figuring out how. Maybe you can give me some inspiration. This thread is where most of my inspiration came from. Post some 73j pics pleaz:)

Of course, I will post pictures when the weather will be not so hot))) I think we can see the true color only in good light.

Thavar 803U

Exaaactly man!!! Some jeans look ordinary indoor but when you wear them out, they are just shinyyy. 73j is one great example. Truly epic color outside
post #21042 of 23913

@marcus0825 those shoes are made of 100% leather. They are very comfortable to wear . My next jeans i am thinking of trying is thavar dont know about thanaz  i am 6'1 tall and 80kgs so i am thinking they might look strange on me with my long legs lol. BTW those jeans(APC) look great on you icon_smile.gif i like your style

Denim addict, thanks!! Thavar and thanaz are pretty much the same. if you can pull off thavar, then you can pull off thanaz. It's just that thanaz exists longer than thavar and there are more epic washes on thanaz. Thavar is taking place of thanaz these years, I assume thanaz will disappear in less than 4 years. Or if we give thanaz more support, perhaps it will last longer. I still prefer thanaz cuz of their back pockets are really attracting to me. If you're about to go fir thavar or thanaz, I'm dire you can use much help here. Lots of Experts here ( I'm not one of them ) Phukette, Gpoop, Karacho, denim collector, aramis, all of those who owns legendary washes. They will tell you how awesome they are
post #21044 of 23913

I am going to USA end of october. I am planning to buy lot of diesel stuff over there ... Its quite expensive over in australia to buy diesel jeans they are TOO over priced here + i think we are one season behind icon_sad.gif over here. I know phukette is awesome. i like reading his reviews icon_smile.gif

Thavar is higher in the rise, at least more than thanaz.

Diesels clothes(at least the denim part) are quite pricey in the US, you will find the greatest sales on the european sites. Only stores like NewYorkSpeed and Amazon(for it great promotion codes- on the last week you could buy shioner 801a for 260$- all sizes!). At least your gonna save the shipping and custom charges!

IMO shioner is the best skinny cut! you could size up if you dont like it thigh, without the jeans will be saggy. The jeans is more proportional on the waist than thavar and thanaz.

I agree with ronlol. Shioner is my favourite. The fit is similar to thavar and thanaz but the back pockets are nicer and the double belt loops provide a better fit on rear. Like he said they are a more proportional fit for me anyway.

I hope this will never happen!))) And I'm also a fan thanaz, it just does not get the new washes. Its popularity would be higher than thavar. This is the best diesel cut. IMO.

LOL! Buddy, I think you're one of the best experts thanaz and thavar!

naaaahh!! lotsa members here own tons of thavar/thanaz. as i know, jeanetic almost own every wash on thavar. i just have a bit knowledge about washes on thanaz that's all :P

and i like shioner's back pockets too. my 3rd favorite BPs. 1. dior homme 2. thanaz 3. shioner

i think thavar is like son of thanaz. the triangle stitching and the fit. they are so similar. just like shioner is the new-slammer, take a look on the waist stitching and the leather label.

Shioner really looks good. I just see it on Phukette and I think that this is really one of the best cuts of diesel.
