Haha, thank you for your kindness:) but I do hope that one day I can start my own business. Even so, i'll love Diesel if they still got the finest jeans as they do now perhaps I should work hard to land a job in diesel, I know they hire a crew of designers from all over the world.
I think the greatest joy is to sell happiness. Seeing the smile on your clients' faces must be a real sweet thing. That's my dream.

Sometimes I think about how to have a second pair. and just put it in storage.

Thanks! The cut is Valiant and I can't remember the wash. But they are really distressed. They have white paint dots down the right knee and this beige stain all over them in random spots. They are really cool.

let the sunlight do its justice. the real color of Thanaz 885v (with my leather boots). isn't too bad eh?

thanks man! they are W27L30. and i think they don't fit loose in waist. they are better fitted than other Thanazs i have. i think Diesel just made up some fitting problem people are complaining about. i almost wear them everyday. i came up with an idea to have my own jeans. make them smell like me, look like my legs' shape, have my own mark on (maybe dirt, ink spots) so i almost wear them everyday, with different shoes and boots. cuz i found out if someone keeps wearing a same pair of jeans, they actually look like another skin of him. i didn't choose my APC cuz i think i wasn't totally comfy in them. they have tight upper block fit and looser fit below the knees.

Aramis, yes, jeans do get better through wearing after another. And from my obsevation, i found out that simple/basic jeans will do it for me. Fancy jeans like 8GZ, i barely wear them and there are some fine works on them already. So they are not appropriate for this project :P 885v are not hard, but not soft as well. A comfy fabric!! They won't look as soft as Lounge pants, and they won't make your legs burn in hot summerdays either. I'd say the fabric is really perfect for everyday jeans!

Baltimore, you mean they stack like Hugo boss?? Haha JK, and no, I didn't hem them. actually if I don't wear boots and pull them up a little bit, they barely stack cuz of the shorter length, but this time I wear boots and sagged them a little so I can see their stacking effect. ended up not so bad I think. Tell you something, boots achieve all the stacks for me. After I form the stacks at the morning, boots help me hold them still.
Everyday jeans should be flexible IMO, if I want them stack, then they stack. if I want an easier look, I can wear them with slippers. That's my original thought.

Hahah! Yyeah looks good with boots. But I think because you wear 27w, the hem is 1-2cm smaller than 28W+. You should measure it once. Mine are 17.5-18cm.

you're right, the hem is about 17~16.5cm on my 27s. btw, i saw your fit pics in 8NE 29 just now. WHOAH!!! they fit you so well!!!!!! bro post it here!!

Aahz - I tried on that pair at the store, but I'm too short so the patch by the knees make it look weird and bulky.. however it looks great on you...  That wash's material is quite something eh? feels like linen sort of.

Yeah, the material is quite unusual with the loose weave and the streaks of blue. But light blue tones that arise from the faded areas out of the overall grey is amazing. I probably would have stayed away from it, but $65 at yoox was worth the risk.

 

I'm getting more and more thrilled with the Excess cut. So far, it's the best fit from top to bottom.
