baltimore, no shit... those are too good to be trueicon_eek.gif

LITERALLY THE BEST DARK WASH ON THIS PLANET.

Bad ass wash indeed icon_biggrin.gif I don't always get good washes, but this time I think I got one of the best. You should really consider getting them.

Phukette, I think it's nice, your shirt is darker so it's good.

but im afraid those cost too much cuz you know, MIJ and prolly japanese denim too. they can cost a fortune!! two thumbs up for the best dark wash anyway!!

if you keep showing off your fit pics of those, one day i won't be able to hold myself from getting them lol

I really like the wash and the fit on you is great too! They are on my wish list already!
They look good, just a simple retro looking jeans... I need these kind of jeans in my collection.

Since you seem to be one of the only, if not the only, guy to have these exact jeans on here, I have two questions about care/fading (just got these in yesterday from Yoox):

1. Does the black rub off on other surfaces and do I have to be careful what I sit on while wearing them?

2. To what degree does the black "coal" layer come off in the wash and the jeans "fade" to the dark blue color underneath?

Thanks.

lee, they look way better IRL!! the back pockets are  smaller than thanaz's from earlier seasons (i mean 06/07/08) and i like them that way. HUGE back pockets make your butt look terrible lol

baltimore, i ordered them a month ago and i made the same mistake as you did. i gave Cultizm the wrong address so i received them yesterday... pretty happy with them tho. but you can never compare them with your DBG. they're killersicon_evil.gif

I have Krooley 8v4...

To your questions:

1. No, you don't have to be careful on what you sit

2. you shouldn't wash any diesel jeans...and if you have to, then 30 degrees or handwashed. not more. 8v4 is a wash which does not loose much of its spirit after been washed a few times. nevertheless still looks better unwashed:P

Thanks. Other than a few pairs of "beater" jeans, I wash my jeans very infrequently. When I do have to clean my nicer ones, I tend to stick to dry cleaning. However I don't wear my jeans for anything gross, and if I only send my suits to the cleaners once a year then I don't see any harm in doing the same with my jeans.

My biggest concern was the potential for an $80 pair of jeans to ruin a $1,500 sofa. However I was also curious about the black coming off because I once had a pair of Diesels with a dirty clay-like substance applied to give them a vintage look and that came off in the wash...

Hahah we must be very stupid giving out wrong address'. icon_razz.gif

They are kind of like thavar 884c, only without the yellow tint. This one is also nice if you want something simple http://store.diesel.com/nl/slim-skinny_cod42255742pd.html
post #20844 of 28375

i have 884c. but trashed them alreadyicon_razz.gif i think the only thing they have in common is the label on the ass. i kindda like that. for anything else, 885v is way better!! more rigid, and the wash is cooler too. if you're seeking for a pair of basic everyday jeans, do not go for 884c... they'll kill your dream lol. 885v is better!!!!!!!!!!!!

thavar 805q is the only one left on my wish list for this season. the fade look really sick!!! man i gotta have those when they are on sale. i'll prolly have to wait

I liked the 884c wash and have them on my "buy when you have too much money" list. But after looking closely at some pics, it's like the denim looks very cheap/thin. I once tried the 8pi wash, the denim felt so cheap to me I couldn't believe it.

I also like 805q, the whiskering (at the pocket, zipper area) looks like 8ne when you put some imagination to it icon_cool.gif
post #20847 of 28375

hah!! imagination always works for ya when you're deciding whether to buy something or not :P but actually i have a concern, i wonder if i'm doing the butterfly style training, will my legs grow too strong for thanaz/thavar ??

If your jeans are skin tight now, then yes. But from the pics I can tell there is some room still, so you don't have to worry about it.

thanks for the confidence on me:) i wanna be one hell of a monster:P i was really afraid of fitness training will kill my diesels lol

Dunno how pumped you wanna get, but I like more skinny with muscle .. like this http://www.denimblog.com/c/t/188847/diesel-spring-summer-2011/100#post_1732636
If you want the same then you have not to worry.

If you wanna go bodybuilder style, then I have bad news icon_razz.gif
