I still wear my Zathans! I also have bootcut Levis that I still wear! Bootcut isn't dead yet! Just honestforum thinks they are!

Hahaha wait until I post more pictures of me with Zafs.

First post in WDJAYWT. I was wearing a Levan before, this Zatiny 8AT is my 2nd Diesel, please give any recommendations, I'd really like to find the perfect fit.

^I hate bootcuts but those really don't look that bad.

There's too much bunching around the ankles, so if you wanted to fix that you could buy Viker which is essentially the same as Zathan/Zatiny from the knee up.

That's also the kind of wash I like, so I think it looks pretty good overall.

ross: cool, but isn't Viker going to stack too? My legs aren't that long, these are L30.

Nice fit on those jim.

Thanks Cez, how abt those shoes? Those are like 5 yr old Asics, thinking of changing them, any kind to recommend? Got another black Chucks, but not a very welcomed type of shoe here in HF and also they suck my Zatiny in like a vacuum cleaner.

Stack is okay on straight/skinny cuts, but looks sloppy on bootcuts.

I speculate another "Diesel Zathan > Diesel Straight cut > Thanaz > Raw Denim > Di0rz" case.

I'm geting there myself lmao, but I'll stop at raw denim, I think.

What you've got there isn't really stacking, it's bunching. Viker will do some of it too, just less.

Which wash is that?

Think I will foresee my looking like this wearing a pair of Thanaz

I'll stick with Viker, anyone to let go W29? =D

You mean the Zatiny? It's the 8AT.

Will Vikers make my legs look short? I tried from a local Diesel store, but too bad they only have L34 which was stacking like nobody's business...

No more than your Zatinys do.
Viker does not stack it bunches.

And it will only make your legs look short if you have really short legs and you don't so you should be fine.
So suggest to hem them? That would be my last resort..

IMO it depends on how your personal taste. I'm not into sneakers & t-shirts all that much anymore that is unless I am running errands or hanging out at home. Other wise I tend dress it up a bit. I personally love 8AT and have really been digging the Zatiny cut. I usually wear them with loafers or ankle boots. I like Onitsukos alot as well as puma and
your outfit works but if your thinking of taking it up a notch I would recommend swapping out the t&sneaks for a fitted collared/button down and some dressier shoes.

Also check out the boots and shoes thread over at Fashion for ideas.

Cez: that's some nice suggestions there. I'll take a look at that thread and see what I can do abt it, appreciate it, thanks.

I dunno, 8AT is a very "t-shirt and sneaks" kinda wash, no?
^ Strictly. Up-dress highly unadvisable.
I would disagree the denim is really soft and breaks down rather quickly so they look really great dressed down but can also be pulled off dressed up. IMO.

Well, wearing dark shoes/boots would look pretty silly. I could see them looking good with some lighter-colored boots or driving loafers, but nothing dressy or dark or even shiny.

I don't think Zatiny 8AT should be worn with any boots darker than the color that's on the back pockets... actually even that color is a bit pushing it.
